Who thinks SWAT would be awesome w/Breakout Maps?

I think that style of Breakout maps, could be awesome with Swat, new and refreshing… Seriously 343 please consider it, thanks ;).

Spawn Camping and Camping would have new meaning with Swat on Breakout maps. There isn’t a whole lot of space to maneuver around on Breakout maps, so I could see games getting frustrating really fast.

This is basically what Breakout used to be before they ruined it with shotguns. Shields were low enough that 1-2 headshots would kill someone, just with an SMG thrown in.

Could be interesting. What if, you thew in silenced weapons & the Tacmag at spawn?

Breakout maps are smaller, they were designed for one purpose. you die and its over. if you play swat on breakout maps, it will be a ridiculous spawn killing fest.

Yeah breakout maps wouldnt work for swat to smallbig time campfest.

Adding any new maps to a playlist would be great I’d like to see some more maps even community made (forge) maps they could put them into the social playlists and let the community vote on what stays what needs to change and what we dont like or want

I don’t think the breakout maps would work well for gametypes with unlimited respawning, especially a gametype as fast paced as SWAT.

Compact Breakout maps with different areas you could go to. Yeah this could work out but someone would have to make some new ones because the maps as they are now won’t because they are made for one life spawns. I tried playing a slayer game type on them and it turned into a respawn kill fest then people couldn’t respawn on 5th spawn for some reason.

I dont know if I understood wrong but you mean the art style of the breakout maps? I actually enjoy it, it gives breakout a “competitive synthetic arena” feel. I got bored of playing in the same city, covenant maps. But the current breakout maps will not work for swat, I’m afraid.

Before new maps are added I think the search times need to be fixed. I searched for 6 hours yesterday and only found 3 games.

Unfortunately for you, that’s because you’re a Champion. The game attempting to find you competitive matches around your skill level is the reason for the long search times.

Also maybe you were searching on focused. Try expanded.

I try on all settings if 1 is taking to long. I’m definitely not going to be a champion next season, just so I can find games.
