I try to find BTB games in Halo: Combat Evolved but no such luck. I love it when I can get into a SWAT match though.

The best hours are mornin n evenin. BTB slayer, King of the Hill, n CTF usually pretty active.

I do still play the MCC version of Halo CE. However, I won’t help towards contributing to shorter expected wait times in matchmaking as I do primarily play Campaign and Custom Games.

I’ve been searching at night and no luck with ce btb. I finally got games of h2c last night. Yeah idk if it’s just me but it seems to be difficult to find games these days.

We all migrated to the CGB instead of MM.

I don’t know if it’s just me being too specific with my searches (I mean, it very well could be), but I tend to search at night as well and end up finding nothing.

I don’t even bother searching for it in MM. Only play the multiplayer in Custom Game Browser and the campaign for challenges and/or achievements lol

Usually you won’t run into anybody playing CE outside of those that throw caution into the wind and leave everything enabled for matchmaking. Plus many people likely leave CE multiplayer not installed for the sake of saving drive space, MCC is definitely a bulky group of games so every gig can help. I personally love the occasional match of CE BTB or Slayer, but spawning mechanics and a decent skillgap keeps it from being a game that everyone actively wants to play.

Only 4v4 and FFA. Pistol starts ruin big team, the result is everyone hiding near cover with 90% of the maps and weapons going unused and 0-0 CTF games.

I like it a lot. It is a mess and i dont recommend to play more than 4 matches in a row.

“action sack” and games like that are awesome, but i havent been able to play CTF in bloodglunch yet

I mostly play CE. A fair amount in 4v4 social matchmaking, and occasionally in ranked, but more frequently now I host games in the custom games browser.

Oh I play a lot of CE with some other people.

I haven’t until recently. I started using it to farm multikills. Brought back a lot of memories.

I still play Halo Combat Evolved especially when it comes to the campaign levels. I really love seeing the Classic HUD from the original Halo Combat Evolved Xbox version appearing in Halo MCC Season 8. I can say this now, Halo Combat Evolved is having a much better experience on the Halo Master Chief Collection especially when it comes to the Classic HUD and graphics from the original Halo Combat Evolved Xbox version.

I LOVE Halo: CE for it’s VERY unique take on CTF and Warthog Sumo.

Well, it depends on how much. Used to be avid from 8-10 am during 2020 but fell off that pace this year. Sadly I only play to complete challenges as the huge increase to challenge payouts makes the base XP from game completion next to irrelevant.
