Of course the main player is Master Chief but what about when you play co-op. He is pretty much alone in space floating towards sigma 7 which as far as we know doesn’t have any other people with him on the FUD. What could we play as? A clone of MC? A marine? MORE SPARTANS?!! What do you think it could be? Answer in the comments below.
I think it’s too early to be talking about our companions in Campaign was we know nothing. We were the only Spartan on Forward Unto Dawn, and we barely know anything about the planet we are landing on (it’s unsure if it’s Forerunner or not.)
But if I had to take a guess it’ll probably be those four other people we see in the Concept Art trailer at the bottom left hand corner.
Another Chief would work fine.
My guess, who ever 343i feels like setting as your CoOp buddies.
Hopefully John clones like in Halo CE and 2.

But seriously, the only proper way we know of given the information we have is to just go the Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 route with three John-117 “clones.” Would be interesting to see who’d they’d create for more specific co-op players though.
I kind of hope its just 3 more Master Chiefs. It was cool in Halo 3 how they had the elites, but when playing co-op, it resulted in some cutscenes being cut out/altered, which I didn’t like.

Wouldn’t it seem odd for the main player to be around 7 feet tall and the other players being around 13 feet tall?
Maybe Chief could find broken robots and have Cortana fix 'em.
I like the idea of having a bunch of Master Chiefs running around, I remember the dissapointment I felt every time I was the blue or red elite in Halo 3s campaign.
