Battlefield blew cod out of the water long ago. Destructible environments, more realistic, better graphics. Every way possible battlefield won lol

Really excited. It’s high time we got out of this “Modern/Advanced Warfare” rut. Since 2008, we’ve only had CoD WaW and Black Ops 1 as period games. And this is the first WW1 era shooter.

On console at least. Steam has a game called Verdun that I think was pretty good.
At first I hated the idea because I was afraid it would be another WW2 game (spoiler -Yoink!- Dies Japan surrenders Russia quits the war ends every one over seas comes come the end) Then I saw it and hated it…But then it started to grow on me. This game will be based on story’s so rarely ever told. Well see weapons so rarely spoken of The dawn of the modern Battlefield. In that respect this is a Modern Shooter so this will be rather existing Im really also hoping the campaign will be a good history lesson while still having a nice AAA game feel.

I just hope they keep all of the weirdness that comes from fighting a war on this scale for the first time. Huge charges of infantry mowed down by machine gun fire. Old tactics burned alive on the field of battle, weapons modifying themselves in the hands of soldier…
Wouldn’t mind seeing the engineer class with like, a wrench or something either. Cause you know, old school machines.
