Who do you think of when you hear “Noble Team?” Is it Carter’s leadership and resolve, Kat’s good looks and horrible driving, Jun’s tattoo and skill. Or what about Emile’s general bad–A** persona, or Jorge just being Jorge? To me I can never choose between Jorge or Emile; but what about you all in the community?

kats good looks? she looks like a rough teenage boy lol.
For me probably Emile is the most visually memorable but kat is more of a friend to noble in even up to the second she gets owned so probably she is the most memorable gameplay wise
I’d say Carter in all honesty.
The best representative of Noble Team would have to be the most noble member of Noble Team. Therefore, I think it falls between Carter and Jorge. To justify this, it is important to list the noble feats of each member.
Carter showed immaculate resolve in the face of adversity, and he sacrificed himself to facilitate the transport of Cortana.
Kat lacks any distinguishing feats of nobility, and she died inadvertently (neither noble nor ignoble).
Jun’s best feat of nobility was escorting Halsey. While this task was certainly of paramount importance, it was certainly not preeminently noble. In addition, Jun is a sniper which means that he spent most of his time hiding in the shadows, so to speak.
Emile died tragically to an energy sword in the back. Nothing can take that from him. However, this occurrence was not self-sacrifice. It was assassination. He managed the MAC (magnetic accelerator cannon). Similar to Jun’s escort of Halsey, this was of utmost importance. However, using the MAC is not particularly a daunting task. This can be understood from Noble Six’s perspective. It is only really difficult on legendary difficulty.
Jorge sacrificed himself by opening a slipspace rupture that enveloped the Ardent Prayer as well as himself.
Noble Six cannot be accurately ranked among the others because his/her nobility varies depending on the player’s playstyle. Noble Six could be a cowardly camper, or Noble Six could be a gung-ho spartan warrior. His backstory does not help either because it is vague and mostly shrouded in mystery. We know he/she was designated to the category ‘hyper lethal.’ However, this says nothing about how he/she attained such a title (aside from by killing obviously). Moreover, Noble Six’s extended sacrifice during the missions The Pillar of Autumn and Lone Wolf cannot be granted bonus nobility points for meaning the difference between human survival and human extinction. Why? Because Noble Six only reached this point due to the synergistic actions of the team. This would be allocating points for survivability. Moreover, nobility does not factor in the results of actions. Rather nobility factors in how daunting a task is.
The decision between Carter and Jorge is up to you because nobility is not actually quantifiable, and the two are too close to place based on estimation (as was done with the other clearly-falling-short candidates).
Things to take into account:
- Nobility requires intention. Actions resulting in death are only noble if said actions are expected to end in death. Moreover, death itself is not what makes actions noble. If death is expected, but the result is an improbable survival, it is no less noble than if death occurs. - The significance of an action is not a metric of its nobility. - When making a decision, also think about the amount of time given to perform actions of nobility. Carter had much more time to perform such actions than did Jorge.
To me, its always been Jorge-052. He’s a friend, mentor, tough as nails, and a bad A**. To me, his sacrifice was not in vain. Yes, the Covenant Fleet arrived shortly after, but can we imagine how fast the fight would have been over if the Covenant had the Super Carrier in their fleet? Jorge to me was the most human of the Spartans.

I was quoting Bungie referring to her as cute lol
Carter immediately comes to mind when I hear Noble Team.
