Who Needs Them? - Progress?

Howdy,
I know there are several posts about this achievement being broken since April 20. I was wondering if there was any solution in the near future or if the only way is to uninstall the game and do it offline. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently the only known method to unlock this achievement is the uninstall and reinstall method that only disc users can use.

That’s it you just uninstall it and it should work?
