Who likes the beta so far?

I know I do
the only issues I have are the grenades being very powerful and the ar is somewhat too good, or atleast very inconsistent in kill times

I love it, sure there are a few things I can nit-pick but overall it’s an 8.5/10 for me.

Whereas halo 4 was a stake copy-paste from the get-go, this game has so much potential having played it all day. It’s incredibly good, and I found that unlike 4, and even the other games to an extent, you have to take it slow and you should try to keep moving around but if you rush into the enemy you will just die. It’s really tight, intense, and tough and I love it so much. I actually prefer Empire to Regret, I think it’s a more maneuverable map with not overdone lighting, but regret is an exceptionally good remake. I would like a little excerpt about the campaign if they don’t have any playable gameplay yet, because they have fantastic mechanics here and I want to see how they plan to use them elsewhere.

I like it. but the shields could use some work

Wicked very good beta for the xone comes second favourate next to the evolve alpha

I do, its nice to see other people of the halo community that are welcome to changes and aren’t raging about every change and comparing it to COD.

It’s great so far. I do take a bit of issue with the ARs power but in general it’s great just like the pros said it was.

People at this rate just hate the game for the sake of being on a bandwagon

I like empire to but I think the snipers need to be replaced with rocket launchers, the snipers are kind of pointless as every weapon is now effective and I think people grouping up and teamshotting is quite powerful and tough to deal with if you run out of grenades

I do, it’s the first Halo where every weapon matters and you can be successful no matter which weapon you have, leading to greater gameplay variety and replayability.

This, the Sniper Rifle doesn’t feel right in the crowded Empire, not enough decent sightlines for it. A shotgun would also work really well on Empire.

I like it. More than I thought I would. I will be posting what I believe should be done to improve this game later. Just my opinion.

Yes, I really wish that map had a shotgun. I think it’s too small and crowded for rockets, they’d just be annoying, but the shotty would be excellent, especially for trying out that slide mechanic.

I’m having the opposite experience. If I take things slow I die instantly. When I’m constantly sprinting, slamming into opponents, and doing the little B button boost I overwhelm them most of the time.

I also don’t seem to need any weapon besides the AR. In fact, from the matches Ive had, BR/DMRs kill faster than the sniper…

Loving it so far, especially the weighty feel of the movement and abilities
Though I don’t feel the grenades are overpowered, if anything they’re underpowered, people can so easily boost away from them
