What/Who is your spartan? is it based off of a Halo character? is it given certain armor to make it look like it fits a specific role? is it just because you like it?
mine is the Spartan III Thom S-293. he was Noble 6 before Spartan B312. He died when he destroyed a covenant cruiser with a nuke and did not make it out in time. (Seen in the Deliver Hope Trailer)
i forgot to mention. Is your Spartan a SPARTAN II, III, or IV? Or maybe SPARTAN I (although i dont think you could make him that in anyway. possibly if you try to replicate marines with the MP helmet)

When did you last go outside?
Mine is what I imagined Noble 6 to look like. He looks at his left wrist at the beginning of the Exodus cutscene, so I have the UGPS attachment. Likewise, I have the Tactical/Recon chest piece for him to put Jorge’s dog tags in. I also use the Mk 5B helmet, although I prefer the one with the UA attachment, so I use that. The rest is just personal preference.

today actually. when did you last have friends? does that feel good? no, so stop being a -Yoink- over the internet, just because i know who Thom is, doesnt mean i dont get outside. And i know how he died from the Deliver Hope trailer, which im sure hundreds of thousands of people have seen and have concluded that was not B312, since that was not how he died in Reach’s campaign.

i never really thought of were he put Jorge’s tags. and i always pretended he looked at his wrist to check for injury. but now that i think about it, thats kind of stupid since he is in a full case of armor so you arnt going to see anything under the armor.
OH why not I’ll join in on this too. Mine is purely preference. I like the lightweight look I’ve got going, makes it seem like he could get in scout out the situation and report back without taking too much time, and the Security helm makes it easier for him to see his surroundings.

Personally, (this is just opinion), i think that when people make their Spartans look like a certain character, it shows a lack of creativity.
I’m not trying to offend anyone, it’s just my opinion.
Well I don’t use mk5b. I use recon. But the beauty is Noble 6 is whoever you want him to be be it Master chief’s stalker/copycat or just some pink spartan!
His recon helmet makes him a stealthy assassin and has sniper bullets on his shoulders if he ever runs out of ammo. His parafoil chest makes it easy to access his awesome knife…
Because the main character is in a league of his own, and because he is not a character seen before in the series I use whatever I feel like on him. Some people make theirs look like the chief but honestly it’s not his game. The only spot you see him that I know of is in the cryo tube at the end of poa. I know there are chief dolls around but this is the best in my opinion. Mine is the bandoleer, the smallest thigh attachment, parafoil chest with prosthetic, emiles helmet with all attachments, commando shoulder, mk5 shoulder. I always use the grenadier knee pads. Everytime I buy something new from the armory I change it up to make it look right. Same with the colour system.

i used to think that too, but now i think of it more as Wishing you could actually play as that character.

is that an actualy spartan from the books/games/other media. or is it one you created out of imagination? i looked at him (cool Spartan by the way) and im pretty sure there is no spartan with that armor set-up, but you never know.

I actually came up with that. I have a lot of fan made books, comic strips and things I’ll be releasing into the Community Creations part of the forum tomorrow, so yeah! I have a story that tell’s all of Gabriel’s life… I’m a total nerd when it comes down to Halo. But thanks man!

My most recent armor set up is me trying to make my guy look like Isaac from the first Dead Space.
i suppose.
Then again i have 6 million credits, i could always buy their armor…
My Spartan kinda started out as Emile except red and gold (because it just always looked right to me). Then I started using whatever I thought looked good because I realized it isn’t cool to try and be someone who snipes with a Shotgun. I’ve wanted the Security shoulder since I first saw it. (I think the huge knife looks awesome.) I also really like the chest I’m using too (can’t remember what it’s called) because the extra part on the neck was just kinda different. Since I got all of those, I haven’t changed my armor much. Any big changes I make just don’t look right anymore.
About 500kb of Data I believe.
