Who is your Spartan in halo reach?

Personally, I think reach is the best game where my Spartan looks coolest, so what is your Spartan 3 backstory? Include bio, preferred weapons, birth date, specialties, etc. Here is mine
Name:max 419
Homeworld: earth
Birthdate: 2531
Backstory: parents were unsc personel, killed by a covenant battlegroup. He was conscripted into the Spartan 3 program and specialized in close quarters to mid range combat. He served with the odsts as a spartan before being sent to a true Spartan fireteam, which is why he wears an odst helmet.
Preferred weapons:shotgun, grenade launcher, rocket launcher, assault rifle
Other notes:can be quite chatty

Kat is the best. Don’t know much but she is my bae

Name- Ghost D-347
Homeworld- Earth
Birthdate- (REDACTED)

Bio: Ghost didn’t name nor he never knew his family, Ghost was found & taken by the UNSC personal in the streets of Old Mombasa for the S-III program, while training with the other candidates, Ghost’s fighting skills has proven to be higly adequate to the Unsc, minus how many Candidates he’s put into the Med Bays.

When he was taken to the firing range, Ghost did not fire a single weapon except ask for a Combat Knife with the frightening words “I’d rather see their life sucked out of them in person, then from a Sniper on a rock” After being handed the knife, Ghost threw the knife from 10 metres straight into the target boards chest & walking out the Firing Range with no hesitation.

Many Years from now, Ghost now serves the UNSC & only gets deployed alone only at midnight to take down any threats to the UNSC, Ghost May not like to work with other Spartans, but at least he likes to keep his home a safer place from any threats that could appose.

Well, I wouldn’t really consider mine as a Spartan. It’s just an Insurrectionist, or supposed to represent an Innie

Why? I’ve never really understood why there were insurrsctionists in halo, because the unsc doesn’t seem tyrannical or unjust

Name - Alexander “Xander” Astara
Gender - Male
Birthday - Classified
Spartan ID - Wolf 611
Spartan “Clan” Tag - Wolf / W611
Homeworld - Earth
Primary Weapon - DMR or Sniper Rifle
Secondary Weapon - Suppressed SMG or Suppressed Combat Pistol
Primary Armor - ODST (ODST Armor Look)
Secondary/Final Armor - Raider DSTT (Raider DSTT Look)
(Raider Armor Look 2)

Backstory - Not wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps and run the family business, Xander ran away from home and joined the UNSC in his mid - late teens. He quickly excelled in his training; and after having several mission successes, including one mission where is C.O. was killed in combat and he took lead of his squad, his superiors informed him that he had all of the qualifications to try for being an ODST. The thought of essentially being enlisted in a branch of the UNSC seen as some of the best of the best, Xander jumped at the idea…literally.
After a few short months of intensive training, Xander soon found himself among the ranks of the ODSTs. He would go on several more missions against insurrectionist threats and quickly ascend the chain of command to the rank of Commander Grade 3 where he continued to lead his own squad of ODST into combat. Then everything changed when what they assumed was a routine mission to investigating possible insurrectionist activity turned out to be something much more. They had all heard tales of possible alien forces, this…Covenant…but they never actually thought they would encounter them. Turns out their supposed insurrectionist activity was several dropships worth of Covenant forces trying to establish a firebase and foothold on an hold UNSC protected mining planet.
Not equipped or prepared to handle the Covenant forces, Xander and his squad were no match for the aliens, and most were killed or badly wounded; Xander himself loosing his right arm to an Elite’s energy sword. Seeing that his wounded squad were being either executed or captured for information, Xander did the first thing that came to mind and played dead as the Covenant combed the bodies for survivors. When the fighting had started, a distress beacon went out and soon, more UNSC forces arrived to drive the Covenant back and rescue any survivors. Xander was the only one to survive the attack, but barely.
While receiving medial treatment, he was visited by a scientist who informed him of his choice. Xander could be relieved from duty and be medically discharged from the UNSC, or he could be inducted into a secret program to produce enhanced “super” soldiers. Not wanting to return home as a failure, Xander opted for the latter and was soon taken in to the Spartan-III Program. There, he underwent the painful and grueling process of becoming a Spartan III. He was no longer the ODST named Xander and was soon known as Spartan 611. He was even outfitted with a cybernetic arm to replace the one he lost in battle.
Seeing that Xander made great promises as a Spartan III, they moved him into another program that would pair Spartans up with AIs to improve their capabilities on the battlefield. Xander was paired with a “female” AI under the code Foxtrot…whom which Xander ended up calling Fox for short. Xander and Fox were like a perfect match and became one of the best Spartan/AI pairs for handling Lone Wolf missions. They worked so well, in fact, that Xander was given the Spartan name “Wolf” as well as a new set of Raider DSTT Armor to match the lone wolf part.

(Note, in the Raider Armor pictures, even though he doesn’t have it, he still would have the cybernetic arm…we just can’t have the robot arm in games after Reach)

Are these stories made up or are they actual things in the lore?

I mean, the first sentence of the first post says it all. “What’s your Spartan 3 backstory?” as in…what is the backstory you gave/made for your own Spartan 3.

Ehh, don’t beat yourself up over it. One of my biggest past-times aside from gaming is writing stories.

Name: Anderson B115
Birth date: October 5th, 2508
home world: Harvest
Backstory: Orphaned at a younger age and brought into an insurrectionist cell, Anderson made few friends, he didn’t agree with the rebels extremist tactics, even calling them terrorists but also not agreeing with the UNSC response to the threat. in his mid teens, he left the rebel controlled territory, trying to make a better and more legal life for him self, bringing only his MA37 Assault rifle, which he had modified into a close quarters combat variant with a combat bayonet. just hours after he had left the rebel camp, the covanent arrived on harvest. Anderson had tried to return home to seek shelter, fighting off lone grunt every once in a while when he was at risk of being seen, but had arrived on the outskirts just long enough to watch it burn. he managed to evade detection long enough for him to sneak onto an evacuation ship and escape to reach.

After arriving at reach, he enlisted in the marines, but quickly surpassed many of his other trainees and was drafted into the ODST corps. After many successful missions, he and the battalion he was in were dropped into a covanent camp on Arcadia, the covanent were meant to either be asleep and those who were awake were meant to be on patrol, the ODST goal was to capture an elite ship master commanding the forces on Arcadia, but the plan was botched and they landed around the outer wall, within range of shade turrets and guards. only 7 members of the attack escaped with their lives.

after returning to the ship he was dropped from, The Winters Storm, a Paris class frigate, he confronted the captain, the man in charge of the attack, Captain William Jones. The captain was drunk and half conscious, sitting in the cafeteria of the ship. Anderson woke him up, angrily asking about the mission that left most of his fellow soldiers and friends dead. Jones, without even seeing who it was, swung at the person who had woke him up, hitting Anderson clear in the side of the head, knocking him flt and making it hard for Anderson to focus. while he was trying to get up, Jones grabbed Anderson by the head neck and slammed him into a vending machine, smashing the panel on the side. Anderson grabbed the captains stun baton and hit the captain in the chest with it, freeing himself from the captains grip, and falling to the floor. Security burst into the room and ran towards the unaware pair, but they weren’t fast enough. The captain pushed over the vending machine and the broken panel landed right on Anderson’s right arm, severing it.

After a week in the medical bay, Anderson was given an honorable discharge for medical reasons, as well as a bonus settlement for the cause of the injuries. The next day, Anderson was approached by an ONI operative. The spook gave him two options, either take the honorable discharge and return home or join the Spartan III program and continue the fight against the covanent. He of course chose the second option, still hoping to get revenge after his home world was attacked.

Other notes: never leaves a man behind

some people in the world are just violent, and others are idiots who decide to follow those people.

Here’s mine:
Name: Aaron B577

Born on Tantalus, May 19 2531
Backstory: After a Insurrectionist attack that landed his parents in the bottom of the ocean, Aaron was recruited into the Spartan III program. During training, he showed exemplary medical skills, thus getting him Mjolnir E.O.D. armor, and reflecting on his medical skill. He helped some ODSTs combat some small groups of innies, resulting in a gash down his face, and a permanent blindness in his right eye. He was sent to Reach in 2549 to help guard against non existent innies. Later he would tend to the wounded of the evacuation of New Alexandria City.

(I know others dwarf mine in comparison)

This seems unnecessary considering there is this thread in the lore section of the forums.

Top notch storytelling in this thread, definitely wasted that 75k to go to writing school. You guys are just on another level.

That thread is for players “Spartans” over all in the Universe. This thread is mostly for those in the “Reach” timeline I guess.

Well, colonies are kind of used. If the UNSC or ONI or the inner colonies or Earth has a need for something they just take it from an outer colony. The outer colonies are kind of treated like peasants.

Oh ok, thanks. I’ve been wondering this for a while
