Who is winning the crossplay war?

Anyway to know pc or xbox is winning more matches?

Probably not, seeing as you can have mixed teams. Would be easier to tell in 1v1.

I play both. The best players are on Xbox because the community is bigger and competition is too. Most pc players can’t optimally use K&M so they use a controller. Each Pc is built different. The main advantage is the avg gaming pc is as fast as X1X so there are less/no lag issues. PC will always be better if you have the wallet.

The players are people can with their friends on PC and have fun together! WE WIN both Xbox and PC win!

On PC you have tthe option to dial everthing down to the bare minimun, so you can get better performance while shedding out less dollar.

Yes you can very much so. See all xboxs have the same hardware so they set these changes. However all PCs are built differently so they let the player mess with it until they find out whats best. If the PC is slower then you can lower the setting. I have mine Max settings all the way down and it looks beautiful something you could never see on xbox. However they did not include FPS and I haven’t used a FPS counter to find what it is set at for PC. If you need help building a PC I build them as a second job so I would help you if you need. Also just to add to that I would not charge you anything so this was not a sale of any kind, I just like to help people.

PC players should win with slight hardware advantage but because of lack of experience I believe the best players and talent are on console.

The hardware advantage is so incredibly small, that if you lose its because the other player did something better, and not because they had a more powerful machine. Also using a M&K isn’t actually an advantage with how the controls are set up. I am fairly certain though that the top xbox players will completely destroy the few dozen pc players.

Well during a 3v3 big engagement if your cpu can’t handle that load you will have a big advantage with a PC. I’ve been dealing with this issue since starcraft 2. I built an AMD build, amd 8 core cpu and when large battles would happen my FPS would drop drastically. Then after researching, I was told starcraft was demanding on your CPU and/or designed for an intel CPU. I made a intel build with an i7 and the game was butter smooth. So I’ll just play on my PC as soon as they open up 2v2 ranked .

I have also played the game a fair amount on console, and unless awakening the nightmare did something to performance, it still runs plenty smooth on console. Obviously in games that are unoptimized like just about anything from Bethesda hardware advantage becomes a thing, but its not much of an issue here.

I’d say the ability to click on the mini map gives PC players another small advantage in reaction time.

Mouse and keyboard will ALWAYS beat controllers in an RTS if both players are equal in skill. Halo Wars 2 is also really simplistic compared to major RTS like Starcraft and requires far less micromanagement. People also regularly complain about mouse and keyboard vs controllers when debating crossplay in competitive games. So the only possible reason crossplay is a thing is most likely the low population. I can appreciate the faster matchmaking though

Since no one has access to crossplay statistics and can reference them that is not a dev, it’s hard to say. I imagine that the only reason crossplay is coming about is so that the pc platform doesn’t die as quickly as it’s projected. There are far less players on that platform, and they really need more of a player base for insentive to stick around. (I don’t play on pc, I am making the assumption on player base through izhere leaderboard player base)
If I had to make a gamble though, I’d bet us xbox gamers are smokin em💪🏻

Why population on PC is low? Game is incredible. If I were a PC gamer I would doubt to buy it. Star Craft population is low too, but the game survives with a small pc base player.

Have you tried playing halo wars 2 on a keyboard? Trust me their is a reason all the PC players I have met use a controller for this game.
