It is either Naomi-010 or a random S-IV
Not sure why it has to be an S-III? It’s Mk V and none of the current S-IIIs wear it as far as we know. Kelly Fred and Linda are currently wearing it, though. Naomi is wearing MK VII, and thinking back on it I’m amazed that absolutely NO ONE among kelly, fred, linda or Halsey even mentioned it when they saw her. Traviss was too busy hating on Halsey to worry about cool stuff that we actually care about.

Did Kelly ever mention the Mark VI armor Fred and Linda were wearing when she saw them? I personally don’t recall any. It wasn’t a big deal and considering all the armor permutations and variations floating around out there, (The ODSTs were wearing Recon Helmets), then maybe they just didn’t care.
As for the cover I doubt its meant to be anyone specific from the story. It’s just a generic spartan image meant to say Spartans will be in it, just as Glasslands had a pic of a standard ODST even though they wore Recon helmets in the actual story.
The armor looks to me like it could be MJOLNIR Mark VII. That seems ridiculous, though. Mark VI isn’t even six months old yet.
They should’ve paid extra for Nylund. The notion of already having Mark VII is silly. And how is ONI going to ruin Halsey’s career? The’s root reason for humanity’s victory in the first place.

The replacement of Mark V with Mark VI was also extremely quick, but oh well.

Well if you go by The Fall of Reach, yes. But if you go by the Reach game, then Noble Team has had it for a while.

99.9% of S-IIIs did not wear MK V.
