Spoilers… If you haven’t played the whole game by now shame on you! 
During the final cutscene who is the Didact talking to?
My only thought up scenarios are…
A)He’s talking to the other Forerunners and the conversation is actually just a recollection of events before the firing of the Halo rings 100,000 years ago.
B)He has fallen to Earth and is giving he case to a court.
Their may be other scenarios but it has me really curious. His crime wouldn’t be something that would even be tried in court. I’m sure humanity would like to pick his brain a bit though. The Didacts little speech alone makes me excited for Halo 5. So what do you think? Is the Didact dead and that speech was just a recollection? Is the Didact speaking to humanity? Or something else? The end of the game is so basic but so hard for a stupid person like me to understand.

I know how to use spoilers. If people happened to get past the very first part of my post that is way beyond their fault. If people seen the word Didact in my title and still decided to click that is also their fault. If someone really want’s to finish Halo 4 and hasn’t done so by now it doesn’t really seem like they would care at this point in time. The game has been out for months now. That was my thoughts but I wasn’t sure. Word for word it sounds like he’s talking to them but I had a thought go through my head that he may be talking to humanity. Either way I think he is still alive and I think me hoping that he is still alive gave me the thought that he might be talking to humanity. Him being either DOA is what is bothering me. I know it’ll be a while before Halo 5 comes out and it’s going to keep me wondering until then.

Really where is this stated?
