In my opinion, I would say that the best female protagonists is Olympia Vale. Not only does she has a interesting background. She also speaks Sangheli.
Gotta give it to Commander Palmer. Though she’s become a bit of a meme, I’ve always liked her character.
I’d go with vale but veta lopis and serina are also pretty good options
CAT is my favourite. Palmer and Veronica are alright. Vale is ehh and Tanaka I found boring. Those are the only female characters that I’m familiar with.

Definitely gonna go with Foehammer. Thanks for the reminder! The Flood is a pretty underrated book as far as I can tell and her portrayal in it is just amazing. I kept reading her lines in that iconic cheery voice.

Are you trying to imply I don’t know how to spell one of my favourite Halo character’s names? Because that’s exactly what happened.
Miranda Keyes is my favorite female protagonist in the franchise. I feel like she is extremely underrated and underrepresented . I know it is unlikely with her See spoiler that we will see her again but I would honestly love some insight into her upbringing. An interaction with her father or mother would be interesting . I’d also love to hear about what happened to her while she was aboard the UNSC Hilbert.
A close second of mine would have to be Vets Lopis. I just love how she thinks.

I agree. Palmer is a solid character and I’d like to see her play a bigger part in the story moving forward.

I would have to say Cortana. Specifically how she was portrayed in Halo 2.
Arbiter, of course.
The best is obviously Halsey because she is always in boss mode. Kat and Veronica were also very nice.
But the one who my 10yo me will always remember is Miranda. She is really underappreciated. I’ve seen her do more heroic things than Sgt. Palmer (who should have been the second hero in Halo 5…) or one of the blue team/osiris assistants.

Foehammer for life, then Dare and Palmer
Palmer is too deluded in her personal opinions. Whacky attitude. Halsey is the better protagonist. A powerful human without the physical capabilities of a Spartan.
