Who is Selene?

Selene from “Selene’s Lance.” I couldn’t find anything on the wiki.

My best guess would be the Greek moon goddess of the same name, though she doesn’t seem to wield a weapon of sorts.

Probably a character from one of the halo novels

Thanks for the reply. I looked her up and it’s curious she doesn’t wield a weapon. She is portrayed with a chariot that flies across the sky though. So maybe that’s her “lance”? So using that specific laser is like attacking your opponent with the force of a chariot haha.

Apparently the name “Selene” is somewhat associated with light (in that it is derived from the Greek word for light), so with that said, “Selene’s Lance” would mean “Lance of Light”, which I’d say is an apt description for the weapon.

This makes way more sense than my comment above. Agreed, it’s a fitting description.
