The OP in the thread just below yours is. I’m excited for Halo 5 but I’d appreciate it if people stopped posting threads like these. There are TONS of them. There’s a new one everyday and they bury the threads that are actually interesting.
I can assure you, no one who takes the time out of their day to visit a Halo website and forum is excited to play Halo 5.

I AM THE HYPE
After the letdown that was Halo 4, I’m extremely excited. Very thankful to 343 for cutting all the stuff from Halo 4 and bringing back that old-school Halo feel.
I am very hyped. I haven’t really played Halo regularly since Halo 2 a decade ago and I’m ready to get back on board. I really enjoyed the Beta and most of the changes made since then have been absolutely what I was hoping for.
I’m one of the “old school” gamers who shockingly isn’t afraid of change and doesn’t view every deviation from Halo 2 as a “betrayal” of some sort.
I want Halo 5, not Halo 2, part 2.

Well he did try to defend halo online. Sounds like most of what he says is just anti 343 anyway, hardly anything constructive.

How many games of the beta did you even play?
- Even spawns
- No custom loadouts
- no perks
- no Armor abilities
- No ordinance
- Clamber, slide, thrust, ground pound, S-charge and hover at every player’s disposal at all times.
That was all too much like Halo 4?

Also. I am very much hyped. I check the countdown every day. I’m currently experiencing a gaming life crisis. I don’t feel motivated to play any of my games because of Halo 5. But I don’t want to buy new games because it will be wasted money when Halo 5 comes out. Because Halo 5 is all I’m going to play until Dark Souls 3 comes out. The struggle is real. But we’re about a month away. I think I can make it. Maybe.
