Any updates as to if it will be the same actor from Halo 5 for Halo 6? Will it be Mike Colter still or Ike Amadi? (As in, make him look like the actor AND have the actors actual voice.)
I still can’t get past the fact that it’s a different voice than Colter in game. They should have patched that in with as much money as they spent making this game. I’m shocked they let it stay that way. I imagine the executives were pulling their hair out when they found out he couldn’t do it due to his schedule on something else.

Yes, but they got the okay for his face.
I Don’t think they will change his face, and if it were me I would keep the noise actor too. If it came down to a choice between the two I would pick Ike.

Or they can go crazy and get someone new like…Idris Elba. Might make Locke into a more likeable character.

Or leave Locke alone…create a new charater with the voice of Idris Elba. 'cuz I think doesn’t matter who the voice actor for Locke, I still wouldn’t like.

That would be just awesome if Idris Elba did a voice at all in Halo. 
I already love hearing Keith David. Add more awesome-sounding actors (or even actresses)!
I imagine they would find time for Colter to do some mo-cap while Ike Amandi will continue the longer voice acting process.
Or replace Palmer with Locke and if Idris Elba is a possibility, I would like him to take on the mantle of Sergent Major Johnson, and then he could be set loose upon the Covenant with our blessing!

Haha, You know what, i’m just going to leave it as is.
Personally, I’d be really upset if Mike is Locke, and voice is Ike in Halo 6. I felt Locke was a cool character, but everytime I play through the campaign I am unimmersed, if you will, by the fact it’s a different voice. Especially after watching, and hearing, “Locke” with Colter’s voice in H2 Anniversary, and Nightfall.
I don’t feel removing, or limiting the character is necessary, although I know many do. However, if the voice, and actor don’t match I would rather see him removed, or limited, and would be fine with a Chief focus, or new character.
I still think 343 should contact Colter’s agent, pay him, get him to do the lines, and Dinkle-bot (Nolan North) style patch it in. I believe that, as it currently stands, fits the definition of “broken” game from a modern, story driven, video game perspective.
Frankly, I feel that is the greatest blemish to the series, campaign at least, and will remain that way unless rectified.
