At first glance I believe it to be the Librarian, and I’m still about 60% sure it is. However, the Master Builder was introduced in the Terminals and I think he could potentially be a part of this trilogy. With the lack of seeds pertaining to the Precursors, the focus on the 3 highest Forerunner (Librarian, Didact and MB) and also Jul Mdama and his quest to exterminate humanity, I believe the Master Builder may be the one inside that “thing” Jul is opening. Anyone have any other ideas besides the two?
The Librarian keeps being brought up so im thinking its her…Although i dont think those Sangheili will like what she will have to say to them.
I think it would be cool if they were unlocking Offensive Bias. I’m dying to know what happened to him after he defeated Mendicant. The Elites believe they are waking the Librarian but somehow I don’t think it’s her. This scene reminds me of a scene from Justice League Unlimited when Lex Luthor was trying to resurrect Brainiac, only to accidentally bring back Darkseid instead. I can just imagine the Elites trying to bring back the Librarian only to find someone like Faber or maybe even the Didact in her place. Someone unexpected who rewards the Elites with Sentinel fire.

That kind of depends on which Didact he has loyalty to as well as which Didact we faced in the game was. I’m pretty sure it was the Ur-Didact we faced in the game and it sounds as if Offensive Bias would have been made around the time the Bornstellar-Didact was in control so he may be a good guy. It’s hard to tell for sure.
I suspect it will all hit the fan, and that whoever is in there isn’t who the Elites were expecting. Hopefully causing all out mayhem

Yes but I doubt he would know for 100% certainty, and he would not know if he was being lied to anyway.
I kind of thought that the giant globe looked like a map of requiem. what with the multiple layers.
Its the same Globe appearing Object that we see on the level Reclaimer before meeting the Librarian, but I also have my doubts.
I know it could spell some serious trouble depending on who it truly is. Considering they gave Faber a voice actor and shown him several times and mentioned him just as much, then I would say it is very possible he may make a appearance.
If I hear “Precursor seeds” one more time I’m going to kill myself.
But on a serious note, it’s entirely possible Master Builder is going to be the new “Didact” but I doubt it will happen through Spartan Ops. Also, MB was introduced as part of the Forerunner council made of the leaders of each Forerunner type(?) except for the miners (which is a mistake IMO), it may have just been a nod to the books.

Access her maybe, bring her out to them for sure. I don’t think Jul’s followers would be too keen on “corrupting” what they probably view as the soul of one of their gods. And that’s if they realize it’s not the real Librarian there.

He thinks it is the Librarian. It could very well be somebody else. Offensive Bias, Bornstellar-Didact, Master Builder, ect…
Offensive Bias was not on Requiem, nor was the Master Builder. Unless Silentium alludes to it, I will believe it. I’m pretty optimistic that it’s the Librarian.
Everything points to Halsey being the librarian reincarnate. Between Chakas saying she isn’t dead, to she herself saying she created the spartan program, mjolnir and cortana. Not to mention John representing the epitome of her work. Wow, sounds familiar.
They will discover that Halsey is the librarian and that they have still been living a lie. Wouldn’t be surprised if the detonator that one was holding was for himself.
I would however like it if bornstellar was released and tore the elites a new one.
It would be interesting to see whichever Didact that was not killed or swept away for the moment appear and his reaction to the Covenant that believes they have been his ally all along.

But what about the emails from Microsoft a few months before it came out i got an email with both Offensive Bias and the Gravemind symbol.
Jul thinks he is releasing the Librarian, but seeing as how the Covvies are always ignorant about the Forerunners, I think it may be something completely different. Perhaps a weapon? Or a ancient A.I.?
I’m actually warming up to it being the Bornstellar Didact that Jul releases. Chief kills the Ur-Didact only to have him replaced by a newer model.
