Sotara Tojima (from Metal Gear Solid 4) and an as of yet unannounced composer.
I must say I am really excited for the new composer. It will be extremely different then all the other Halo’s in terms of music. Gonna be great!
Sotaro Tojima is his name. He seems to know what he is doing. I believe he will do a great job.

Why’d Marty leave?
Personally I didn’t love the music from the Halo 4 reveal trailer but hopefully he does well or the game won’t have the right feel if you knw what I mean

Marty didn’t leave. He was never with 343 in the first place.

Marty is from Bungie. Bungie is not working on Halo. I thought everybody was aware of that already :S

Halo 4’s teaser was done by a third party, not 343i.
Ohhh rlly?? That was a weird decision :s Any know reason for that? We really haven’t seen anything from 343 much at all then

The teaser was a CGI, so 343i may not have had the assests to do it.
And I imagine they needed all hands on deck for Anniversary and Halo 4.
A change in the musical department will make H4 will have a lot do to in this trilogy. Never underestimate the Sound design in a game/movie. It creates the atmosphere. I Hope it’ll sound like what we’ve heard in the last trailer. Loved it!
