Who is actually going to watch the VGAs?

I sure as -Yoink- am not! after the 2010 VGAs, I have no faith in Spike in giving credit where credit is due. I’m just gonna, IDK, chill with friends, family. If there is a Halo 4 VGA Trailer, I will come here to see if Spike is about to show it, tune in, watch the trailer, then go about my business. You feel the same way bout the VGAs decline from a true award show like the Oscars?

Yeah, the VGAs to me are quite a joke. I’ve never taken them seriously with all their damn performances (Some are funny though). I wouldn’t exactly deem them as the OFFICIAL video game awards. The AIAS is pretty much the equivalent of the Oscars for video gaming. Though, since it’s on a Saturday, I’m most likely going to kick my feet up and watch it. It’s pretty cool seeing all these new titles being unveiled and what-not. But I’m going to watch it mainly for Halo 4. >)

The VGAs are pretty bad. Not just the show but the awards themselves too. Every award is just a popularity contest. I’ll just wait until after they’re done and watch any trailers. If there’s a Halo 4 trailer, I’ll see it the next day, likewise, I’ll watch the MGS Rising stuff once it goes up on youtube or something.

The VGAs, to me, just seem like a blank canvas for mass advertising. They don’t seem terribly exciting or professional, but from the looks of things this year, there’ll be enough awesome content to make me watch for at least a wee while.

Only time I’ve ever seen the VGAs was a couple years ago when they showed Reach. I guess maybe I’ll attempt watching them again, in hopes of a Halo 4 trailer. But I’m really not fond f watching a Viedo Game Award Show.

I’m just going to watch it for Halo 4, but that is about it.

I’ll wait for the trailer to appear online.

I will be watching. VGA’s are fun to watch.

Question really is, who isn’t going to watch the VGA’s? Cause I know I am :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not. I’ll just watch any interesting trailers/videos on YouTube when it’s over.

It depends on if I have anything better to do.

Seeing as my console is dead, more than likely.

I am not going to watch it but if any halo 4 stuff apeares do us a favour and post links everywhere in this forum

same here. my console’s in for repair.

I’m from the Netherlands, the thing won’t even be aired here, and I sure as hell won’t stay up to watch it in the middle of the night…

I am looking forward to the Alan Wake’s Night Springs trailer very much however, so it will probably be the first thing I will look up the morning after.

I will be for the entertainment aspect.

I will watch it the day after as it airs way too late where I live.

I would see it as long as it doesn’t turn like last years…

I only watch it for the announcements.

I will only be watching for Halo 4. Nothing else really interests me.

Bad jokes that weren’t too funny the first time they were said somewhere else, mass advertising, winners only being whoever gets more votes rather than who actually deserves it, etc.

Not exactly something I’d bother to watch.
