I have fun because I donāt care as much about progression and custimization; of course i like it but having fun is more important to me and i am having a lot of fun because all the core things about the MP are GOOD.
Sure i wish the progression was like Halo Reach and that I didnāt have to pay for colors and could customize everything exactly how i want and that i could be a sangheili but, that all comes second. Good gameplay, maps, and modes come first. And infinite has delivered that part 9/10. All they are missing is more weapon variety (so many legacy weapons that should be added) and some more vehicles like the spectre.
I love this game, gameplay wise halo infinite is a 9/10 (we need player collision) but everything else is weighing down on me wanting to play it
No armour customization without emptying my wallet.
Battlepass challenges are broken and dont complete or are so hard and specific that completing them is a chore.
The reach battlepass is missing almost 10 iconic armour sets that are going to be sold back to us.
There is no progression system outside of the battlepass.
Pick 3 armour colours was replaced with destiny shaders that are sold to us.
There is no way to earn credits to use in the store.
The HGC armour skins cannot be modified nor can the coatings be used anywhere but on the skin itself.
Every problem i have with this game is in terms of marketing and the choice to severely limit player freedom and choice.
This is supposed to be MY spartan and never have i felt more like its not.
Oh we are enjoying it. The reason for the negativity is because the problems that crop up are what stick out the most in our minds. And we want to see them fixed ASAP so we can enjoy the game even more.
Gameās an absolute blast. Theyāve already announced theyāre in the process of fixing the progression system, so Iāll just wait to buy the battle pass after they fix it, you know?
I do still wish theyād allow us to earn in-game currency by playing the game. Apex Legends does this. They could make it so that you only get like 10 or 15 currency per match, but if you do very well you get bonus currency. Like, 10 extra currency for a triple kill, 15 extra for a killing spree, etc.
The overall mechanics of the game are absolutely fantastic, and my complaints are really just limited to map/playlist variety at this point (and obviously the entire xp/progression system). I do think some of the covenant weapons may need to be revisited, but maybe I just donāt know how to use them yet.
Yeah, you should probably wait even after that because it still will have a ways to go before it is āfixed.ā Really you should wait until you have progressed to a level that unlocks something you actually want.
True. Iām only at the second tier right now and one of my challenges is ādestroy an enemy chopperā but Iāve only seen a chopper once so far. So itāll probably be a while until I get to a high tier
I think itās all the options. I have been mucking around, almost endlessly, with FOV, deadzones, accellaration etc. I have even been watching Youtube videos, on how to adjust the settings. I have seen some improvements, with the adjustments I have made. I am going to spend some more time on this, to see what differences, the different settings make.
