First time me playing this game:Oh boy this is going to be awesome!LEt’s play that popular desert town map!
First round, first thing I do is walk down a walkway, gets headshotted by quickscope run and gun sniper.
Second round,go the other walkway, gets picked by quicksope run and gun sniper.
Third round, goes the OTHER and last possible way, gets picked by quicksope run and gun sniper.

Game did not give me good first impressions.Learing curve is too high.Playing with bots are fun,but real people? They’re worse than machines
I’ll definitely be getting it OP. As for mr.quick scope above, I’ve encountered those people before too and you know what? They met a quick scoper right back. ^_^. run and gun tactics secondly rarely work in CS against good communication teams.

Well, it is hailed as one of the most skillful shooters out there. Im preparing myself to go negative 20 but still have a good time =P

Welcome to the 90’s kid if you’re expecting instant rewarding play, there is about 1000 games you can choose from, CS not being on that list.
But really, if you expect to walk in and lone wolve CS using run and gun CoD tactics, you are going to fail miserably.
Its definitely one of the harder shooters to get used too, I found playing with a half-way competent team helped me learn the game. I know If I buy it I am starting out in casual mode because I havent played the game in years(Last I played was some CSS), and like everyone else said I am going to suck.
You might have better luck finding a potential group on the THC or MLG forums OP, but glad to see I am not the only one interested in a change of pace from the modern day shooters.
I’m getting CSGO. But it’s kind of funny that some of the same people who rip on Call of Duty for being the same thing over and over will not have a problem with GO.

Probably because CS is legendary, takes alot of skill(attracts many competitive player by doing that),and its oldest game is still being played almost 15 years later.COD?Not so much.
Plus don’t some [super]competitive people hate change(to the game series they are doing so well at) anyway, even the slightest?I do remember reading somewhere that some cs 1.6 vets refused to migrate over to CS:S despite their being similar because of the <small>changes Valve made.</small>
Looked online for some information about this game.I’ll be honest I mainly thought it would be small improvements to the forumala like CSS
Well, after looking at the info I can say that even if it does have bots,I’ll guess I’ll buy. This new"casual" mode seems very interesting will defo’ replace my need for bots to train, even though it’s going to be harder than bots.

Don’t forget that Valve doesn’t charge $60 for the game, only to release the same thing again a year later.
