We all know 343i is making the next ‘Reclaimer’ Trilogy of Halo…AND they’ve made a HALO CE remake.
But we all know which Halo kicks -Yoink-.
Halo 2.
And unfortunately it’s online status has been shut down.
But…what if they made a Halo 2 REMAKE?
What would you think it’d be like and what would you expect?
Who here… would like… to put… dots between… every second… group of… letters?
OT: For the 10th Anniv of Halo 2 I don’t see why not.

Halo 2’s online status hasn’t been shut down.
A Halo 2 remake is unlikely. What people really want is the multiplayer back, and that’s not going to happen.
Halo 2 has been ported to the PC, and if you really want to relive Halo 2 in all it’s glory, that’s the place to go. It has an active online community, achievements, and the graphics look better than Halo 2 on the Xbox.

Microsoft has expressed the desire to release a Halo game every year, and a “Trilogy” game every 2 years.
If they did a Halo 2 anniversary it would have to be released in 2014, 10 years after the release of 2. That doesn’t work because 2014 would be the release date for Halo 5.
That and Halo Anniversary is just a 10 year anniversary celebration of Halo. Showing the difference from the beginning to now. Would be redundant with Halo 2 as alot of the reasons CE is even a successful idea aren’t there (Beginning to now doesn’t exist as beginning is CE, not 2. 10 year anniversary of Halo 2 is NOT 10 year anniversary of Halo). etc.
Chances are the releases will look more like this:
2011 HCEA
2012 HALO 4
2013 “Halo Spinoff 1”
2014 Halo 5
2015 “Halo spinoff 2”
2016 Halo 6
And I wouldn’t be surprised if those “Spinoffs” are basically Halo Wars and ODST sequels.

Halo 2 Vista is identical to the xbox version in every single way, and better.
Just plug your 360 controller into the USB port, and you’re golden.

Microsoft said they wouldn’t mind a yearly model, but that’s Microsoft, not 343.
