Who here quits games?

I will admit I will quit if:

I get a map I dont like,

infinity settings when I want pro,

deluxe settings in throwdown,

my doubles partner has negative kd,or I have a team of guests

the host is from australia/japan/new zealand or mexico/columbia.

the game starts with uneven teams

its join in progress

My team gets split up onto the other team

Anyone in the same boat?

lag

JIP a game that is hopelessly lost already. This happens every single time! Just take it out!

I got a 60 minute quit ban… When I didnt quit, the message came up in game and then it booted me to the loadscreen.
Im not sure but 60 mins is an hour and its been 2 hours since I’ve been able to play.

Its dumb and broken by the looks of it.

When the lag is too severe or when I don’t care about playing Halo 4.

Most of my quits usually come from not enjoying Halo 4.

When they put me in matches where we are losing already by like 100 points seriously. Or I’m put in the same lobby over and over again due to low population.

No.

If I can be -Yoinked!- to wait for a game I can be -Yoinked!- to finish.

> Anyone in the same boat?

No, because I’m not selfish.

I only quit when the lag is bad, or my attendance is required in the real world.

  1. My team isn’t helping or producing points.
  2. JIP in a SEVERELY lopsided game
  3. When I get an Invite to go play a match with my friends.

other than that I stick it out, especailly on regicide…never a clear cut winner until the very end.

Lag and balance mostly.

In other news this will be the first Halo game I quit playing all together if it doesn’t get substantially better in the April TU.

I back out on jip. If I’m getting beat I adjust my tactics. Works out 9 times out of 10. Some people just have great team work.

I did quit jip’s when I got into them before I learned how to back out. Just really frustrating, especially in regicide.

I absolutely hate it when people quit matches in progress. You have no reason at all to complain about JiP if you are a quitter, you are the reason it was added.

I don’t think I have quit 75 matches since Halo 3 and most of those was due to a loss of internet of something in real life took immediate priority.

I quit sometimes when IRL interferes.

Without friendly fire, I just don’t have the same emotional investment in the game as I did for Halo: Reach.

That, combined with various IPv4 lag issues makes Halo 4 just tougher to play. It’s not horrible…but it definitely isn’t Halo: Reach.

same here the only time I “quit” is when I get lgged out, the power or internet goes out or I’ve played longer then I should have and have 10 minutes before I have to be somewhere. I’m normaly with at least 5 people so JIP’s not much of a problem, we have been jip’ed into some games where everyone on the team but 1 or 2 have quit and have been able to bring the score up so as its not a complete rout even if it’s just me playin I’ll go for as many kills as I can get (mainly for any commendations I can get)

I quit games for these reasons…

  1. LAG — Its not always a problem, but It usually lags a lot after a Host Migration which makes me leave the game and look for another match.

  2. REAL LIFE PRIORITIES — If I need to do something very important, that’s when I quit the game.

  3. TEAMMATES NOT SCORING/HELPING — Its annoying how you are racking up all the kills while the other Players in your Team barely makes a score.

this game is all social and no ranked, why is quitting “selfish”?

If this game is to be played just for fun and not competitively shouldn’t you quit when you are not having fun?

You’re degrading the experience for the other players. When a load of people on your team or the opposition team quite I’m sure you find it frustrating. oh no my mistake, you just quit as well.

I try my hardest not to quit. Whether it be lag, horrible teammates or JIP’d (sometimes I get all three in just one game), I stick with it. I don’t see a reason to quit out unless the lag is so atrocious or real life problems occur.

I quit as little as possible.

That’s what I call a challenge. A game is more than winning. I’ve been thrown into in plenty of these games, but instead of quitting, I see what can be done to even the odds at least a little. I’ve had 3 captures behind CTF games that I have come back to win after I JIP in.

As far as quitting, I never do it unless something has to pull me away from the 360, but even then, I try to finish the match because leaving would put my team down a player.

I wish there was a record on waypoint that showed how many games you have quit. That would be awesome.
