Who here misses Team Classic?

I certainly do…

It was the best playlist in the game; medium paced gameplay, no AAs, no loadouts. That made it have that classic Halo feeling.

120% speed
125% jump
150% gravity (should’ve been 200% though)

How I miss it…

It was the only playlist i played. Ever since it was removed i have stopped playing Reach.

Just under a month and it’ll be back…

Me too lol.

It’s just that I can’t stand zero bloom (beta) when I move like a snail, well, others move like that too, but when beeing shot, there’s no way to fight back.

Team Classic + Zero Bloom = Win.

Meh, i liked the game with bloom alot better.

Damn, was the only playlist without the quitters, double pummelers, nade spamming and armor lock… the perfect playlist (Not MLG, since MLG aint got that feel…)

I don’t see how people can like bloom, but I guess that I gotta respect your opinion since we all like different things.

It was my favourite until the needle-rifle starts and “coincidental” population being cut in half the same day.

Not really, I’m enjoying the TU Beta playlist a lot.

I hate Bloom too. I just like it better than having zero bloom.

It’s unfortunate that Classic got cut, considering that it was the only playlist with altered movement speed and jump height. I think a better thing to do would have been to adjust the playlist post-TU to allow for zero bloom, bleed-through and the other new features. Then, when Anniversary dropped, just plop the maps in there.

Yeah I get it, but it really isn’t as bad as you think when you add the settings from the OP. You’ll even notice that it is hard to take someone down in long range with those settings, not joking.

To be honest, I prefer default Reach over zero bloom (or 85%) with default settings.

Default movement only works with default bloom. Bungie desingned it that way. /fact

This, and also the things I mentioned in the OP.

I didn’t spend that much time in there, but I do miss that playlist. Though team shooting was overpowered, just like it is in TU Beta. Played against more than one great team that set up shop on beaver creek and just annihilated everyone one my uncoordinated team who went out into the open… It was like whack-a-mole with guns…

Well, I welcomed the changes to the movement speed and no AAs… Its just it made nades that much stronger with 110 percent damage.

I ussually play customs with 110% damage resistance to nerf the melee, magnum and the needle rifle.

And the greandes get a nerf too.

All good things come to an end eventually.

Fortunately that is irrelevant considering Team Classic will be back and better in about a month.

i didnt really play it, but i cant wait for the new version of team classic to be up and running!
