I have all Halo 4 achievements except 3 acheevos from Castle, and all of them from Champions.
This may be the first 2000GS I get in a game!
I didn’t start playing Halo until recently. How do I go about getting the DLC achievements if the maps never show up?

Play in the playlists that DO feature the DLC maps. There is also a DLC playlist that puts all of the DLC maps on a rotation (we have Champions right now).
Play with friends that have the DLC to increase your chances of playing on your desired DLC maps. It also greatly increases the chances of DLC showing up as options in Matchmaking. The ‘Recruiting’ section of the forums is a great way to look for these people.

I have 69 out of the game’s 86, so I need 20 more achievements
3 more from Crimson
5 more from Majestic
6 more from Castle
3 more from Champion’s Bundle
But it’s difficult to try and get the DLC achievements, because of the arrangement of DLC playlists
Almost there, two achievements left, Protect This House and From Downtown
3 left, One man army, Protect this house, and throw it in from so-so meters.

Yesterday I got,
“One Man Army”,
“Repeat Survivor”,
and “Pitchin’ a Tent”.
Today,
I got the rest!

the champions dlc are pretty easy to get besides protect this house and I need like 4 of them but I am missing 2, both in crimson, which are a real pain

Just a few Campaign (Misssion specific) and one or two Map pack ones.
Might go for them all one day.
I only have all the achievements for Borderlands 2!

I have maxed every Halo game apart from wars and halo 4, Halo 4 was maxed for me before the DLC arrived, I want to bring it back to my list, I am a Halo completionist and I am proud of it

Well, if you unlock the campaign and all the map pack achievements (aside from Champions), you should be in the high 70’s for achievements.
So you still need to unlock a bit more before you’re actual very close.
