Just yesterday I picked up the newest version of “The Fall of Reach” from my local Barnes and Nobel.
I was just wondering if anyone else in the community has gotten theirs yet, or plan to get it any time soon.

As it turns out, I now have 3 copies of “The Fall of Reach”. I don’t know if this is a good thing, or just sad.

I don’t think so. I have read the original twice so I don’t think I’ll need it. There is some new content included in the new one I think, but is it worth getting the book again just because of that and a new cover?

I’m extremely Obsessive Compulsive too… So the fact that the re-released books will be the same size as the copies of “Ghosts of Onyx”, “Contact Harvest”, “The Cole Protocol”, and “Evolutions” excites me.
I think the smaller books just look awkward with all of my other ones.

With my Barnes and Noble Membership, I think it came out to about $15.
Once I finish “Cole Protocol” and “Halo: Evolution”, I’ll be picking it up

I’ll still get it.
Nope. But I really want it (the new cover is tasty, not that I like to eat books). I need to finish reading the Harry Potter books first though!
The Fall of Reach is a great book, but the new version has a lot of canon inconsistencies that weren’t in the original version.
They screwed up just a BIT to much.
I like the cover, but I got The first editions of the Halo book trilogy, so I am going to pass.
I already have the Bungie edition and Bungie>343
Yeah I haven’t even grabbed a copy for myself yet. I need to do that tomorrow.
I’ll probably get it when the errors are fixed.

The people from Waypoint knows this and so their official excuse is: We used the wrong based electronic version, meaning stop the printing presses and revise with actual oversight from Frankie.
