First things first lets just start with halo 4
i dont know which 30+ year old male or female who was designing halo 4 would think that Spartan abilities that are very similar to call of duty and i know for a fact this is what was running through their minds "oh look call of duty is making sooooo much money because they keep their game the same every year and still make more money lets just create a new halo that has call of duty similar that way we can make lots of money after 1 mouth of release of halo 4 population around 40k online
Now Halo 5
since there isn’t alot of stuff revealed in halo 5 but from what i have seen from the beta in the trailer of H2 Anniversary it looks to me like they still haven’t from halo 4 and im just saying who ever in 343 thinks that teenagers 16 + like having special abilities and jet packs in a completive game like halo needs the sack Asap
i just hope 343 have learned from the mistakes and make the halo that all of us want
and for you kids saying “wtf you talking about” and “get a life” i just have to say to you sorry i wont let my favourite game and my childhood memory do down the drain because of pathetic that work in 343 that take advantage of halo and its succes
I’m not 343i’s biggest fan, but it’s clear that they like Halo more than CoD, they are understanding that things aren’t as easy as they look, that they are not infallible, and that pleasing Halo fans is way harder than herding cats.
They haven’t got it figured out yet, but they’re getting there. Halo 5 will not be perfect but no Halo game ever has been. I’ll buy it and play it and either love it or not, and so will you.
Despite the outrage, many people still had a ton of fun in Halo 4, myself included, even if I’d consider it my 4th favorite Halo. Was it a good HALO game? Arguably no. But they still turned out a great game that many people liked.
Certainly can’t fault you for disliking the changes. Most long-time Halo fans did. But 343i has shown us that they hear us and are more than willing to do what they need to in order to regain out trust. You can tell they want Halo to be as good as we do–they just need to find the right way to make it.
Just give 'em another chance. I think they learned their lesson.

If you never want the game to even remotely change you can just buy the MCC. It contains every single main title, and it contains a slightly modernized version of Halo 2, which is all you people seem to want Halo 5 to be. No one needs “to be fired” just because their work isn’t up to par with your personal standards. In short, this post was a waste of everyone’s time.
