I HATE JET PACKS. Now that I got MY opinion out, can someone just give me a link to something that confirms jet packs to be in halo 4? All I heard is that there are THRUSTER packs not jet packs. I really don’t care if they are in the campaign but I might lose it if they are in multiplayer again. How is your take on jet packs in multiplayer if they are confirmed?

Notice the differences between the one that uses the Thurster Pack on the ground and the Spartan in the air who clearly has a device on his back propelling him upward.
Since unlocks (weapons, specializations, AAs, armor) are universal between War Games and Spartan OPs, this would mean Jetpack is going to be in MP.
Jet Pack has been confirmed for a while now.

Here’s proof without technical proof:
Halo 4 is poised to be very similar to Reach and other FPS games, and therefore jet-pack along with all of the other armour abilities, are returning.

Yup, unfortunately it’s back, hopefully its a nerfed version when compaired to Reach. It needs to be too, because I don’t care what anyone tells me, it was 100x more game breaking than AL. So I’m hoping 343i nerfed it.

It’s not my favorite AA, can’t say i am happy that it is coming back.
I’m glad the whiners didn’t get their way and that its back. Opens up so many more possible game types to play in custom games.
I’m hoping it’s just like a portable grav lift from Halo 3. You used it once to boost up to a high spot and then have to wait awhile to use it again.

Well, it was only spotted in Spartan Ops so hopefully if it’s in Matchmaking, it’ll only be in Big Team Battle or some playlist like that.
I hope these armour abilities aren’t in Matchmaking; Jetpack and Active Camo. I don’t mind Active Camo pickups but not the armour ability. Jetpack exploited many maps in Reach, if they’re going to bring it back, I would hope they put a lot of thought into the design of maps.
