who else wouldn't mind if 343 delayed the release of halo 4?

Personally I wouldn’t mind if 343 took extra time to get Halo 4 put together. I mean there’s been a lot of negativity on the forums once we found out about what’s going to be in Halo 4. I mean Bungie always listened to the community, always took what they said with heavy consideration. What do you guys think? Post what you’d want to happen in Halo 4 that would make it fun.

Keep Armour lock and Invisibility to campaign and not into competitive, They ruin it for me. Also i hate it when your being shot while zoomed in so you can’t kill the person unless you no scope them.

No, they have everything under control. They have announced it almost a year ago and Master Chief has been floating around in space for 5 years. I’m sick of waiting!

More time they get; more time they have to completely fill it with -Yoink-.
Get it out ASAP before it’s too late.

Fine the way it is if people took half as much time to complain as to calm down and wait for frankie to speak everything would be better.

First we need to see about 5 matches of game play then we can tell 343i our take on this Halo 4 experience,it’s the least we can do to criticize the game, after all were the ones who will be buying it.So I’m just gonna wait till E3…

I would mind, considering I see nothing wrong with Halo 4 and can barely wait as it is.

They would make so much more money if they just redid Halo 4 and took an extra year or two to do so. This way there will be a Halo 5 and 6 and they will be successful. If any of the crappy info is true then I don’t see Halo going beyond Halo 4.

Of course you don’t . . .

Meaning?

I wouldn’t mind if it meant that the end product plays better.

Exactly. With any game I’m excited for, I always support a delay of any kind. If it means polishing up the game so it has a good release.

As a general rule: If you’re finished with your game, push it back 3 months for the extra polish time and then release it.

Doesn’t matter. -Yoink!- won’t let them delay the release. And I read that they have been working on halo 4 since 2009. Don’t know if that’s true or not.

Well isn’t 343’s main market the people? I’m just saying that if there’s gonna be 80 pages of posts within 2 days of the scan leakage, there should be at least some concern. Then once that’s over 343 has to consider which is more important, their authority as creator, or making the community happy, kinda the same problem that happened with the Mass Effect ending recently. There’s a whole lotta stuff to consider…Just out of curiosity, has anyone asked Bungie what they thought about this?

So, we barely know a scratch of information about any of these new features except for fan speculation and already you want everything out the window?

OK. That makes total sense.

Why would we want it late?! We’ve been waiting for something with Master Chief for 5 YEARS!! By the way higher jumping would be cool.

I’d mind since I’d like to play it before 21/12/2012.

If Halo 4 is going to be as seen recently, frankly, I don’t really care. I enjoyed Halo for ten years and I am glad I could be a part of it. I got an Xbox to play Halo, and if Halo as we knew it is ending, maybe I should sell my Xbox and focus on the important things in life.

The truth is, no developer listens to the community like you think.
When a game is announced a year before it’s released, what’s in the game is in for good.
343 had all of these features put into Halo 4 well before they even announced it. So how could they listen to what we want in the game. Remember, this game has been in development for probably 3 years by now.

When Halo Reach was announced, bloom and armor abilities were already in the game. People begged for them to be removed after the beta. Were they removed? Nope.

After a certain point, game developers can’t listen to the community unless they are reporting buggs because what’s in the game is in the game. Nothing’s going to change.
