why stop at 0g space level? I want another level like long night of solace, extremely fast ships on an large open space map. maybe a BTB mode thats like the OG battlefront 2 where you can board the enemy ship and stuff. I feel like halo has underutilized the potential for space levels. lets hope we see more 0g goodness in infinite:)
My guess is that the first mission will be a space one, savaging the Banished ship that Chief lands on in the E3 trailer. I think it will function as the tutorial mode to get used to the mechanics.
Chief will probably find a power source to get the Pelican working, so that they can both make it down to the surface of the ring.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of the main story missions take you off the ‘map’ for a brief linear mission, which could take place on a launching ship or something.

I was thinking the same thing, the glimpse we saw recently for the story has to be where we start out. Looks like chief is on a destroyed ship (maybe destroyed by the banished since UNSC troops and the covenant are both lying dead around Chief) and there will most likely be some 0g but with the grapple hook which would be pretty sick!
It appears that the first mission will probably at least partially be in space. Since the end of the cutscenes of Chief floating from the pelican to a destroyed ship cut with the camera in first person, like that was the beginning of a level.

i like both OPs idea and this guys idea, Halo has the grounds for an honestly phenominal flightsim game given the saber program, the banshees and the covenants arsenal. however, i would love to do the 0 g stuff in the trailer as well, handling marines gently and disregarding the banished’s bodys
Plus one. They’ve been fun before. Nice to mix things up a bit.
I’d like a level based on the recent trailer. Shooting and moving through a zero gravity debris field. Having to throw objects to change your direction.

Heck yeah this would be so much fun although I just don’t think they’ll follow through with this. Most people seem very adamant that halo cannot and should not copy other games and should stay true to itself.
