Depends what country your from, if your from the US like I am then yes schooling is virtually useless there. Most US schools teach Western-biased material anyway, and most of it is just very one sided. So I say yes skip school, go for it.
As for Halo: CEA of course it is going to be awesome, I personally can’t wait to see how they handled the blood, and flood encounters in The Library and the ending scene for The Maw.
I’m going to go to school the day it comes out. After school I’m going by Game Stop to pick it up then I’m going to play it that night and the next day-which is the day that I’m skipping. Lol, you don’t know how many people I have told this and have gotten confused. =p

I live in the Eastern part of the US and I do agree with you about the schooling. Also, I have never played Halo: CE, so don’t give me any spoilers =D.
It looks fun but I’m not going to skip school for it… as far as I know. ^_~
it could be amazing, but the curfuffle about making analyze mode kinect exclusive really irks me. in rerelease that is meant to flesh out the halo universe(“caugh” terminals “caugh”) it seems much more intent on fleshing out my wallet. oh sorry, i meant to say, removing the flesh from my wallet
It does look amazing.
Esp what little we saw of Assault on the control room. I always love snow levels in games and AotCR is the greatest (well up there with Two betrayals anyway).
I think it also helps that its using a better color palette than Reach.

Remember all the people saying that Reach was awesome and then when the game was out almost half forum were complaining. IMO I like Reach and its an awesome game, for other’s perspective it isn’t a great game. Lets just wait for the game, but in my opinion, the gameplays looks pretty amazing. I really hope there isn’t too many trolls about the remake.
Absolutely my most anticipated game of the year. I am taking a vacation day from work and my brother is skipping school, so we can co-op the entire game day one. Then when my wife comes home we too will co-op the game again. Beyond that I bought a 3d TV, Astros, and have a Kinect to maximize on the experience…I am a self admitted closet Halo fanatic.
I do not have classes on Tuesdays (the day it comes out) so it’s a win-win for me.
I’m going to play solo first, so I can get into it. After I beat it I’m going to do co-op. That’s the way I have always done it.

Halo CE is one of the finest games ever crafted by man, what could possibly go wrong?

I’ll just play my ten year old copy of Halo C.E thanks. Why pay again for a game I already own other than to keep shouting ‘Grenade’ and scare the dog?
I think it sets a worrying precedent that could well become yearly Halo releases. Halo C.E this year, Halo 4 next year and Halo 2 Anniversary 2013? I’d have quality over quantity any time.
