I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really liking the new look of the new S-IV’s. Their default helmet looks pretty badass and the overall armor is just pretty damn well done.
I’m excited to see what else they have in store for us, if the default already looks as good as it does.
I love every aspect of the Spartan-IV armour, including the helmet. Though I’m certain I’ll be using different armours on my character anyway, since I’m bound to like something else even more.
But still, take it as liking CQB over Mark VI in Halo 3. They’re both amazing, but I’d just rather use CBQ.
At first I thought they were ugly, but they really grew on me. I think they look really awesome and im excited to see what other armor permutations there are in the game. The lighting makes them look even sicker.

The same thing happened to me. At first I really disliked the armor. I thought it looked weird and out of place. Then, I just kept seeing it more and more…They showed some screenshots in the Gameinformer and that’s when I thought, “this armor is badass.”
Yeah i love it. They look sleek and like true supper soldiers. I love the MC’s armor. I wear recon alot and the side profile of his helmet looks like recon and mk 6 fused kinda
At first I didn’t like them but now I do. The helmet reminds me of EOD and Hayabusa. They look really good with the lighting. But it doesn’t look like the armor from Halo: reach
The default SIV armor looks great in my opinion. But the helmet could use some work, the worst part is that awkward mouth peace, there should be more detail then just some indents.
Oh man, I love the Default helmet (if that’s what the helmet is that we keep seeing). Looks totally Ninja dood, lol. JK, but yeah I think i’ma rock default helmet if other helmets don’t do anything to enhance my Spartan.
I really, really didn’t like them at first. They felt too Crysis-y and foreign after being used to Reach’s Spartans. It’s funny looking at the physics for their movements, since it’s very obvious that 343i kept their promise of using H3’s physics and movement speeds as a basis for H4.
But I’ve grown to enjoy and appreciate them after seeing them in more gameplay clips.
