I played through reach again a few days ago, I plan to play CE again soon, and so on.
Gotta refresh for halo 4.
I may do it as I have done it with the release of every Halo game. There is nothing more fun than playing through the whole series in a chronological order on Legendary. Even though I always get stuck for months with Halo 2 because of the difficulty of it, it’s always as fun to play through the trilogy. There is nothing that can beat the feeling when you complete Halo 2 on Legendary.
I know halo 2 backwords and forwards. I could play it inverted on 1200 speed and never die… Reach i have played through recently, CE and CEA are both fresh in my head… ODST i have played very recently… to bad i only have the halo 3 multiplayer 
although i have beeten the campaign quite a few times.
Agreed, Upon release of every Halo game except the first of course I’ve played through the previous ones on legendary (except Halo 2 that I play on heroic). Halo 2 to me was purely about bringing the multiplayer to xbox live and not so much about the campaign. Still a good campaign but nowhere near what bungie wanted it to be.
Back to the original topic, Every year or couple years me and a buddy of mine play through the whole series and it’s quite gratifying. And it only makes complete sense to play through the series again when Halo 4 comes out. Even though Reach is a prequel to the Halo series I played through every Halo game probably the 2 to 3 weeks before it came out.

The only thing worse than jackals… are jackals with sniper rifles! Especially on legendary!.. Rest in peace my Plasma Pistol-BR combo.
I usually play through the game that was released before the one coming out, but this time I think I will play through them all, start to finish, Halo Wars to Halo 3, yes even Halo Wars
Of course I’ll play Halo 2 and Halo 3 again, but I won’t bother with Combat Evolved, Reach, Wars, or ODST.
I got my XBOX 360 for christmas 2011 and I have all the HALOs except H2 So far I have finished all of them except ODST.

I always play through all campaigns on legendary difficulty before a new halo comes out. I actually just started playing Halo 3 a few days ago, but I have a question about it. For some reason when I played with my friend the game was extremely choppy and lagging. To the point where it became an annoyance and wasn’t fun. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this?

Going to do CEA, 2, 3 & ODST on a new account so I have to unlock all the levels again (and it would be fun to get the achievements/skulls/terminals again(

Not a bad idea at all, I’ve played through reach a few times, halo 3 recently, I feel personally since I didn’t get an xbox until the end of halo 2, that story i know the least. Also its nice to explore other halo media like the novels, i feel like knowing what happened in the books could make the game a little richer since 343 did say they were making sure other media was straight in the video game this time.
Yep. I’ll play through each one. It’s always fun replaying them in order and then adding another one on.

I can’t stand it.
I wish I could play straight through the campaigns, but unfortunately my Halo 2 is all messed up and it can’t load any of the missions. I’m currently looking for a new cheap copy. My ODST got lost at a friends house. And that was my favorite!
The correct order to play them in: Halo Wars, Halo Reach, Halo: CE/CEA, Halo 2, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 3

Not at the moment. But I do yearly, and always do so in advance of the release of a new Halo game.
And with 6 games to play, I guess I’ll start off a month prior to release this time.

and then…finally, Halo 4’s campaign before even touching the multiplayer. Yup, looking forward to it!
