I live with my brother and in Halo 4 and before we loved playing split-screen, both locally and online, the exclusion of split-screen personally enrages me. It feels that a part of Halo has died with this new entry to the series. I have one question for you, do you want split-screen back?
Everybody loves split screen but it’s gone. Get over it.
The split screen multiplayer has been the main reason my friends and I have purchased and played Halo since its inception. Now that its gone, I don’t know if I am going to buy the Halo 5 game. It just doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t play online, but I like to play with a group of friends sitting together having a good brawl. We often get two or three Xbox consoles and TVs together and have 8 to 10 people over for some fun. Everyone of those people has copies of the Halo games. I don’t know one of them that has purchased the new Halo 5 game yet, just because it doesn’t have our most cherished feature.
I hear there are other games that have the split screen multiplayer feature for offline play. I think we might move in that direction. Too bad, because I really liked the Halo games.
Hope it comes back, I played Halo as a kid with my dad on console. I would like to do the same with mine
split screen is such a key aspect to the halo experience and just because games like destiny don’t have does not mean that 343 needs to follow suit. I mean come on 343 did you not realize Bungie made mistakes with destiny and that was one of them come on fix this give us split screen.
