It’s going to be all i play, lol.
Same. That’s all I’m ever gonna play if it plays very closely to the past Halo games. I like Reach’s multiplayer a lot, but I like Halo CE’s a lot better
I’m skeptical and pessimistic, by natural occurrence of course. But I’m really hoping this game improves and is decent until Halo 4 is released.
Well, not to go way off topic but I am more interested in what the T.U. might contain that we haven’t heard about yet. Don’t get me wrong I am indeed anxious to play a more “traditional” style Halo. If for no other reason than to see what 343 considers 'Classic" Halo. However, I just have a feeling that 343 might have a hidden card or two up their collective sleeve. I am more excited to find out about that than just play in the Classic playlist(s).

I will have to agree with you on that. Is it sad that I am a bit more excited for Halo: Anniversary and what the TU will bring than I am about Halo 4? I guess it’s just because it is closer to launch and Halo 4 is a little more than a year away.
Team Classic as it stands is a PoS right now. I hope 343i will be smart and actually make it feel like a classic hopper, not some NR starting forge world playlist.

I am sure the closeness of the T.U. has a lot to do with it. I just think how 343 handles the T.U. will help us see how they see Halo and maybe provide a small insight to where they want the franchise to go. Time will tell I suppose. Halo 4 is just too far away and we know so little at this point for me to get too excited about that just yet. That isn’t to say I am not super stoked that there is going to be a Halo 4 but beyond that it’s too soon for me to get really hyped.

Yeah exactly the same way I feel about Halo 4

This. I really really hope it a truly classic fun experience unlike the jimmy-rigged classic playlist we currently have that is like Reach on Ice.

I actually enjoy classic as it is, but it will be way better with more beautiful maps and a TU.

Yeah it’s definitely more tolerable than the default team slayer hopper, but yeah i really hope they add some awesome functionality that truly makes it flow well
Yessir, it’s the only thing that will save this game for competitive players that don’t like to get jipped by poor mechanics.
I hope that traditional multiplayer works cuz I havn’t played Reach in a while. I play Halo 3 now cuz a lot of trolls are gone and my friends don’t play Reach. And I like the multiplayer better in some ways too.
I really cant wait! Reach is cool and all but I would love to play HCE multiplayer again.
Starting tomorrow I’m putting off Reach until Halo Anniversary releases. Besides it’s good to escape things that you love for awhile, because when you get back to it, you love it that much more!

jimmy rigged sounds about right.
3 beatdowns? make spamming BETTER? 1 grenade + 1 pistol / DMR / NR bullet for a kill (throw grenade then shoot before it explodes)?
but ‘halo on ice’ i disagree with. ive never had a problem with movement in the classic playlist. it does take some getting used to, but if it was ‘halo on ice’ i wouldnt be able to fluidly navigate HYDRA XIII (damnation) and never fall off random things into the abyss, or to people waiting to eat me alive below me.
I’m excited to see what 343 considers “Classic”. I’ll either really love, or really hate this playlist.
