Who Else Has -Yoink- Req Luck?

I have terrible luck with anything related to Reqs or Req Pack and pretty much Warzone in general. All the time I say up to buy a Silver and get nothing but commons. Then I go to buy a Bronze and I try probably 4 times all giving me nothing but -Yoinking!- Mongeese, Needlers and Suppressors. Then every once in a while I try a Gold because I want to actually have a chance of getting something good- and I get Uncommon everything. And everyone once in a while I do get a good Req (I got Retina Of The Mind’s Eye, Echidna, Typhon and 2 Lawgivers all in the same Daily Win pack) and I get killed immediately. This pisses me off so much, I swear we need a way to get out Reqs back if we’ve hardly walked 10 feet with them, or atleast a lock that will prevent someone from picking it up or despawning. I’m sorry if this sounds like complaining, but I’ve been having a -Yoink- time in Halo (not because it isn’t fun, just what I mentioned earlier and ending up on a crap team that TK’s your shiny new Req every once and a while is enraging beyond belief) for the past 3 days or so, and I just really need to vent this. Anyone else feel this way?

It’s best to buy them in order. Buy nothing but Bronze req’s till you only get experience points instead of permanent then do the same for silver then focus on gold.

You should only be buying silver to get all of your permanent common-rare unlocks.

I’ve also heard you can try bronze packs to get your common unlocks done, but I dont like my purchases getting too random, so I do silver.

After you have all the basic unlocks, then you upgrade to gold packs and you will get ultra rare and legendary unlocks.

Its not the prettiest system, but its what we’re stuck with.

They should just take emblems out of the REQ pool. Those were free in prior Halo games and now they just exist as filler to prolong the grind for REQ points for those who don’t want to buy.

I know that, I just am so -Yoinking!- pissed that I can’t get any armor I seem to like. Or armor at all for that matter. Nope it’s all -Yoink- emblems, copy pasted visors and Seeker variants for me! I just really needed to get this out of my system before I go insane and smash my controller or Xbox. As I said I’ve been having a very unfortunate time.

100% agree. Make armor, helmets and visors a separate type of Req pack also. Just something that makes it easier. Getting a cool piece of armor is what makes me want to keep playing when I’m having a terrible time.

EDIT: This sums up my luck of the past few days in Halo.

All I want are the Mark V Helmets and Centurion helmet/armor.

I keep trying to get the Noble armor and still haven’t gotten close.

I feel the same way. It’s really annoying because I don’t care for much of the emblems. It took me 3 months to change my launch day emblem when I got the rhino one.

I don’t believe it’s ever worthwhile to purchase Bronze packs.

With Bronce, you spend 1250RP for a “chance” at a single common permanent req. From my personal experience at least, that comes to fruition less than 50% of the time.
With Silver, you spend 5000RP for two guaranteed common-rare permanent reqs.
Mathematically, I believe it’s more efficient to bypass Bronze packs entirely, not to mention all of the other reqs outside permanent reqs you get in the Silver pack.

I agree as well. When I use my points for a REQ pack, I generally want weapons and certifications. I’m fine with my Fenrir Unchained armor, I don’t need 174 different pieces of armor. Seriously, why need a bunch if you can only use one?

Emblems are even worse. I personally don’t really care about them, so getting them in my REQ packs is very deflating. Nobody really looks at them anyway, it’s more of a cosmetic thing that doesn’t really matter

I’d agree with taking something as basic as emblems out of the req system or at least leave a couple of newer fan favourite ones that are ultra rare or legendary I suppose. Feels like you’re being robbed opening packs and getting a bunch of emblems.

I have awful req luck. I’m well on my way to eventually having all reqs and have only got 1 mythic so far which is Emiles Regards. A bunch of my friends are lower than me, some significantly and have already got not just 1 armour piece but full mythic outfits (they didn’t buy packs either). I am very jealous. It can’t be too long since I have about 83% of all of the customization reqs, bring on Helljumper please

Just for your guys relief.

I’ve almost finished ultra rares and many legendarys by using the bronze-silver-gold path. Once your done with common, uncommon, and a few rare emblems it actually rarely gives you emblems from then on. It seems to prioritize other stuff.

I agree to the point that an emblem should never take the spot of a rare equipment. Emblems should be no more than uncommon with rare being earned via game achievements. But since we are speaking emblems, I like the heart shaped one I got in time for VD. Now I can run around with a bloody heart emblem to match my bloody armor. MuhaHAhaha

I just want a DMR…sad face McGee over here.

Agh you have 83%, I’m at like 36%. Seriously though I need something encourage me to even consider buying Req packs now. I just can’t recover after this, I feel like crap.
