Ok halos always been fair game right? They say that’s what there aiming for right? Lets take a look at a few things then. First in the old halos everything was fair game everybody starts off with the same weapon same kinda area for the most part. And everybody had a chance at getting the power weapons which was fair. So in halo 4 powers and perks are fair? Not at all, let’s look at why that is shall we. Ok (in halo 4) we start off he has jet pack and dmr, I have hologram and br and it’s a open map to some degree and we start he flys up in the air and starts shooting me so I look up and start shooting him. His weapon being mid-long range mine being short-mid range and he kills me, why? Because he had the upper hand because what he chose at start doesn’t that sound like call of duty? Yes. So yeah everything has a counter but at what cost? I can’t even use what I want because if I do I’ll lose because he’ll have an advantage. And what if I don’t have those counters at the time that means he has an upper hand which means he got a kill for his team so if I change what I have and play and lose by one point now what? I just lost because of a upper hand at start. How is that fair game? It’s not. halo wasn’t built around such things so it doesn’t work. Putting in things like theatre and file share and new enemies or even some new weapons is perfectly fine. it’s things that mess with game play that’s the problem. Now why don’t we put jet packs in call of duty or gears of war or even lost planet? Why not its such a good feature apparently why not? Because it wasn’t built around such things because that’s not the kinda of game it was. The way call of duty is is fine that’s what it’s been from the beginning. How mad would call of duty fans be if they put shields in it? Pretty damn mad and probably wouldn’t play it. Sounds like halo 4 to me. What do you guys think? Have any of you ever thought of it this way? Tell me what you guys think.

dat paragraph…
I took the time to read it, and it’s just another topic about spawning with weapons/AA’s, that we can throw into the massive pile.

My reaction to this post I like how Halo 4 is looking, the new features add more variety to keep things more interesting.

Is that better??
Considering you get FIVE loadouts to customize, and you can customize them on the fly mid-game, you shouldn’t have a problem just picking a loadout that counters him.
Or don’t be a -Yoink- and run out of cover.
I disagree, but respect the constructive criticism. One major thong: You have not played it, neither have I, so we can only speculate on what we see. To me choosing your AA and weapon is perfect fine. I personally like to stay at med-long range. The light rifle will be a decent choice for me. I like stealth so I will almost definitely use AC. While this setup would not be good to just go straight for a power weapon, it is good for general play. You can make up to 5 different loadouts. You can make a louadout for different task. Power weapon, marksmen, CQC, ect. So I think it is pretty balanced. Honestly though, I usually never go for the power weapon right at the beginning anyways.
HOLY COW… Seriously break things up into paragraphs. That was just one big jumble of text.
Plus the CoD comparison is a little old.
It sounds like he was smarter than you.

Its always amazing to know the creator of that show also made Dexter’s Lab, Samurai Jack, and Powerpuff Girls.

LOOK I MADE HIS POST ALL COLOURFULL AND FAMILY FRIENDLY!
OT: halo is NOT COD. each weapon will have a counter, or can be countered with some skill.
Halo 4 certainly does NOT feel like call of duty. It does not play the same at all. These loadouts aren’t meant to be, more powerful say, they’re for playstyle and made to be balanced. There are loadouts specific for maps and gametypes that are available. And jetpack is nerfed.

Nope.avi that was lauren faust, his wife. minor mistake my friend.
As has been said by others, Reach had a lot of these same features. Is Reach broken because we played a game (hypothetically), and I happened to get to a DMR before you and killed you because I used sprint to get there?
Why not just use your active camouflage and not sit in the open getting shot at by the jet packing guy?
