Who else feels this way?

Who else thinks that most of the main plot should be kept under raps until the game is released? The reason that I think this is because in Halo CE, we all came into it not knowing pretty much anything about the plot. Since Halo 4 will be the beginning of a new Halo trilogy, maybe 343i should consider not letting much info about the story be leaked out until the game gets out there for everyone to experience without anyone spoiling it for them. I personally am VERY intrigued about the way they want to take Halo as far as story and lore. And come on, who the hell DOESN’T want to know if the Forerunners are really extinct? Thoughts?

I know what you mean. When Halo Ce originally came out I was blown away. Not knowing much of the story before I played engaged me more than I would have been if I knew what was going to happen.

with that being said there will always be speculators and 343i will drop hints here and there. As the release date comes closer there will probably be some leaks as they are hard to prevent.

But as true Halo fans we can only hope for the best.

Bungie showed way too much of Reach before it came out that it fully ruined the experience for me. I know it’s my own fault for not going dark but still… 343 should definitely be more subtle

it’s true, they should hold out on revealing the plot to the public, and it seems like they do their research, so I’m confident they will do something good. if they don’t it will hurt their reputation and the new trilogy.
