Who else can take up Mantle of Halo

I honestly tried to give 343i a chance after Halo 4 since it had a great campaign but multiplayer was lacking it had great potential, MCC i never bought at release because of it was to good to be true and i was right now when i bought halo 5 it felt like the complete opposite of Halo 4… Multiplayer and gameplay where great warzone was a great game type but why make things at release be passed of as free dlc…

343i cant handle halo it’s kinda obvious at this point …who is?

I’d pick Bethesda, just because. But threads like these are moot and usually lead to flamming and eventually get locked.

maybe you don’t like the game because you’re not good at it? (0.7 K/D)

No one.

dont really care because i care about lore of the game and i got onyx as a all time high so ya me!
but seriously k/d isn’t a excuse for a bad story and lessening the plot of halo 4

343 gave us the most balanced, and most fun gameplay of any Halo to date. Could we have used Forge, a few more maps, and some more playlists at launch…yes. But to act like they shouldn’t develop the next game is like a child complaining he didn’t get extra sprinkles on his ice cream.

We have an amazingly well balanced Arena mode, free maps with every DLC (Forge maps, remixed, whatever…they’re new maps. They don’t play like the old maps. Overgrowth doesn’t feel anything like Plaza), Forge, and more gametypes on their way. If Warzone had more maps it could be another game all on its own. There are 60+ vehicles and 70+ different wep’s in Warzone alone…I feel like people overlook just how much we DID get on launch with Halo 5. We didn’t get social playlists, Warzone was the social playlist. Now we have unranked BTB, and other playlists like doubles/rocket party.

Arena has 13 maps, Breakout has 4, and Warzone has 4. We’re not map starved like people keep saying, maybe if you only play one playlist you’re map starved, but I’m 60/40 Arena/Warzone and I’m not. BO3 only has 13 maps total in the game.

Yes, but unfortunately we also got sprinting, thrusters, clamber, ADS, ground-pound, and Spartan charge.

I’d support any developer taking over who can see that these mechanics do not belong in a Halo game.

343i has done a good job. The gameplay is great but the content is lacking a bit which is what everyone is upset about. Everyone has the right to be upset but I think it’s a little much to say 343 has completely failed. They have a great foundation and need to work on the way they produce and distribute their content

Why? Why don’t they belong in a Halo game? Halo 2 had lunging melee’s, Halo CE didn’t have that. Does that not belong either? What about the BR? Or the tons of other things that have been added to the game.

Fact is Spartan abilities don’t change the way the game is played that much. On average high CSR players get 1 Spartan ability kill per game, that includes melee attacks. Check the stats on the right side of this webpage. Sprint is balanced as you can’t sprint while being shot, and doing so resets the cooldown timer of your shield recharge. Clamber is common sense, and its not “OP” or “easy mode” as if you do it you can easily get shot while your gun is down, so crouch jumping up to keep speed, momentum, and your rifle up is still superior. ADS and thrust are great for the game. You can combo things up and get creative with your strafe for clutch kills, or do any number of awesome things. Like thrust > slide > jumping off ledges to go flying…if you have your timing down. All these abilities raise the skill ceiling of Halo 5.

So why don’t they belong in Halo 5?

We already locked one thread like this. Let’s not keep making new ones.
