Who drinks and games?

from the very beginning I think me and my friends have almost always drank and played halo CE,2,3 and so forth. Every Friday night I would be at my buddy’s house with beer and pizza and maybe some bourbon.Just seeing how many other people have done the same. Good times

You almost had me with “beer and pizza,” but when you throw in a little bourbon and then ask me, “Who drinks and games?”

I answer, “Alcoholics?”

Alcoholics no… We are just country boys and my family owns a distillery and I’ve been in the military for 10y just love good bourbon and halo lol

guilty and its sooo awesome! Not alone that would be kind of sad but with friends its pretty fun. I have been in the military 9 years.

I wouldn’t drink so I would have an advantage

I have done that before years ago back in halo 3 days with 3 of my friends drinks and food it was great. good times

It costs me more in controllers when I do.

It really messes up my reaction time and aiming, and since I’m not that good to begin with I pass on the drink most of the time. But if I’m really in the mood then I may have a scotch.

Yer a couple of times until I have passed out from drinking to much… Good times… I only drink from the top shelf

Before I had a baby, yes…Beer and Halo go along so well

I typically will grab some rum and play. Always a little better buzzed, as strange as that is. Everything just seems a lot smoother.

With an 8 month old I only get to play about 2 nights a week but those two nights I am a little saucy lol.

Oh yea, I may or may not drink about 5 too many beers when I play most nights…

This makes me think of an argument that I had with my brother recently.

I’ll agree right off the bat that if you are “drunk” “sloshed” “hammered” or whatever you want to call it, you are not going to be at your best performance.

BUT!

I would argue that a few drinks helps me play a little looser and I am more confident with my 1 on 1’s and other various tough plays that I need to be clutch on.
People have argued that someone THINKS that they’re playing better because of the buzz, but I think there’s a certain amount of buzzed that does in fact make you better.

Either way, I usually drink when I game. Especially when gaming with friends.

P.S. - NewEdwards117, Love good bourbon! Bourbon and a cold beer in between makes for a good night!

I do, God do I love the taste of bleach while I play.

jk

Real man drink gasoline.

I sometimes drink water when I play. But only when I’m thirsty.

i got wasted like 2 weeks ago and tried playing warzone. i actually did good but then -Yoink- went down when more and more went down my throat. it was -Yoinking!- awesome though

I do, but if I get too shloshed I just switch to a more lid back game mode like warzone.

Definitely appreciate the input I don’t get hammered always but I do drink a few. For me it makes the game more enjoyable.
