Who do you want to do a voice in a Halo game?

Halo has had a lot of awesome voice talent, from Ron Perlman, to Nathan Fillion. Is there anyone else who you wish would lend their voice to the Halo universe?

Here’s my list:
-Bill Paxton (Aliens, Agents of S.H.I.E.LD.)
-Felicia Day (Fallout: New Vegas)
-Jewel Staite (Firefly)
-Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Godzilla)
-Chris Evans (Captain America, The Avengers)
-Brian Cox (X-Men, Super Troopers)
-Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks and Recreation)
-Lena Heady (Game of Thrones, Dredd)

Keith David as some sort of noble disgraced alien warrior on a journey to reclaim his honor or something like that. On a serious note I’d love Trey Parker and Matt Stone as some marines that are serious in campaign but once the IWHBYD skull is on… All hell breaks loose.

Keegan-Michael Key, it would seem.

Gotta go with some of my favorite audiobook narrators on this one, Scott Brick, Llyod James and Simon Vance.

Scott Brick - Halo: New Blood, Halo: Broken Circle

Llyod James - Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Time Enough For Love

Simon Vance - Sherlock Holmes Collection, Frankenstein

Morgan Freeman, Nolan North, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Roger Craig Smith.

what about michael kee…oh…nevermind.

Yeah Bryan Cranston as some kind of Rebel leader similar to Governor Jacob Jiles from Halo: First Strike or some big ONI head honcho

Same here but with Dan Castellaneta as a normal marine, but when you have the IWHBYD active, he becomes Homer

Steve Blum, Nolan North, and/or Troy Baker, each individually voicing a whole team of soldiers. As they tend to do many voices in shows and games, sometimes even multiple characters in the same show, I think it would be amusing to discover and overhear the group talking to each other in varying voice styles, so the voice actor would be essential talking to himself.

Maybe even Peter Cullen. Imagine him voicing a unique Spartan with that inspiring Optimus Prime-like voice. Especially if they let you select a voice for your multiplayer Spartan chatter.

It would be infinitely better with the soothing voice that is Joel Heyman

  • Alan Rickman
  • Lance Henriksen
  • Michael Hogan (as a cynical UNSC committee admiral)
  • Sigourney Weaver
  • Liam Neeson
  • Edward James Olmos
  • Peter Dinklage
  • Benedict Cumberbatch (yeah, he’s in everything these days but you can’t deny he has one awesome voice)
  • Seth Green
  • Judi Dench (as Adm. Parangosky)
  • Timothy Dalton (as Faber?)

Michael Ironside. His voice would be perfect for a Spartan or ODST, he sounds so incredibly intimidating.
Robert Downey Jr. could play some kind of “egghead” capable of out-talking Sarah Palmer…

Peter Cullen would be more awesome as a Forerunner.

Sigourney Weaver, the SciFi queen herself, as some high ranking UNSC officer, maybe Maggie because Osman is taken.

Idris Elba has a kick -Yoink- voice too.

Though this may not fit with the (from the looks of it) darker tone of Halo 5, we need a bit more comedic voices from our marine NPCs. Like, in Halo 2 we had Orlando Jones, Brian Posehn, and David Cross, and in Halo 4 we got that cameo from Conan O’Brian. I want to hear Bill Burr, Will Forte, Allison Brie, or even Kevin Hart while I fight aliens.

Gilbert Gottfried.

dumb jokes aside, I really like the idea above for Weaver. She’s be a dynamite Maggie.

Michael Wincott

Liam Neeson has a pretty cool voice, in my opinion. I can see him pulling off a Spartan II or an ONI officer, but who specifically I’m unsure of.

John Dimaggo (Marcus Fenix’s voice) portraying a hot-temered, aggressive veteran marine/ODST
