Who do you think wins more... Red or Blue?

I’m guessing 343 would tell you it’s almost about half and half down the middle, but there’s no way the Red team isn’t the favorite to win every match. On a lot of maps, they get the better spawns, the better lookouts, the better landscapes, everything. This has gone back to Halo 2.

I wonder if the psyche of being on the Red team makes you a better player. It does for me. Every time I find out I’m on the Blue team, there’s seriously a way larger percentage that I will lose no matter what. I’ve been on the Blue side plenty of times and won big, but never ever as much as on the Red team. It just feels better to be on the Red team. Maybe it’s a confidence thing, but I know a lot of players have said the same thing over the years… and I thought about it again on Ragnarok… CTF Neutral… Red team GUARANTEED to get the flag first if they go for it cleanly. I have never ever NOT gotten the flag first while on the Red team. I can grab it first on Blue, but only if Red is slacking. It’s one example, but it’s something I notice on a lot of maps, new and old from other games. Lots of lil advantages for the Red side. Blue does have some here or there on a few maps, as it pertains to weapons and such, but man Red team is just where it’s at in the Halo universe.

I feel that there are many maps on Halo 4 that give Blue teame a HUGE advantage, such an on Haven, and Meltdown. I mean, look the landscape is BLUE!!! So it is WAY harder to see Blue team than it is Red team. But, with that said, when ever i am on Blue team, i have to do EVERYTHING. I feel that the red team usually gets the better players. I play Swat alot on Halo 4 and it seems that Red team is usually winning. Now i do not see this in others such as Halo: Reach, ans i haven’t really played enought Halo 3 to really be able to tell but, I do agree with you.
Neutral CTF on Ragnarock. The hill that the flag is on is CLOSER to the Red base. On blue side, there are a bunch of obstacles in the way on getting to the flag.
I also feel more Hype as the Red team. but still, it shouldn’t be such an advantage to where everyone can tell.

Well at mental lvl blue is a more sad color while, red is more of a happy color. I do enjoy playing on the red team just because I do like the color better.

Im going to guess Blue bc Red stands out more.

I have one thing to say to this, and one thing only;

"Simmons, Give me a fat beat
Well I got the blues
In a headlock
I got the blues
In my shotgun sight
Well I got the blues
They can’t get away
Gonnaa make those dirty blues see their last goodnight
Then they’ll be taking a dirt nap
Well I got the blues
They’re a bunch of dirtbags
I got the blues
But I got good aim
I got the blues
They won’t leave me alone
I got a shotgun shell for each one with their name
I might have misspelt Caboose
Yee Haw
Down home Lopez
Hop in the jeep, put the pedal to the metal
I will tear across the canyon while I’m yelling like a rebel
We might not have a tank but you can take it to the bank
I’m the soldier of this boulder. I’ve got the highest rank
And I intend to use it
I hear by order you to boogie
Not you Donut. Nobody wants to see that
I’ve got the blues
Right where I want them
I got the blues
But I got Grif too
I got the blues
Stuck in this canyon so long
That sometimes I don’t know just what to do
Oh wait, Yes I do
Shoot em’
Blues, You just got Sarged"

Lyrics from Red vs. Blue. Song is Sarge’s Blues.

So, I would hope this would make my opinion clear. I loathe playing as blue. So I do believe there is a psychological advantage to being on red team.

In hindsight, it’s kind of awkward how my armor’s blue. Oh well.

It always felt that the red team would win a lot more than the blues because “Suck it blues!”

Red team often has better spawns, such as on Complex. It is so much harder for blue team to win CTF than red team. Red team also spawns much closer to the overshield on abandon.

I’ve noticed this same thing for the longest time, especially in Halo 3. Blue team, all the way…

Honestly on some maps, the blue team members can blend in at a distance. You kind of see them in the corner of your eye, but you get sniped. Red dudes stick out like a sore thumb.

I think I have to say red uusually as the advantage oven the blues. For example on longbow most of the reds spawen points are right next the bases.

blue because of caboose… XD
