Who do you think is going to return in Halo 4 that isn’t a obvious character. I don’t know if the Monitor is going to come back evan though he died. LOL. GHOST MONITOR.

Monitors or Sentinels will surely play a slight to major role being that we’re on a Forerunner environment and the game is focusing on the Forerunner lore.

I would actually like to see Halsey return to some degree if not, actually get some visual on CPO Franklin Mendez and I’d like to see Parangosky in the (wrinkled) flesh. All I can picture of her is Mom from Futurama lol

His memory could have got sent to some sort of installation, or even a shield world when he get destroyed. So his memory would be downloaded into a new Monitor body. Just like those Cylons in the new Battlestar Galactia series.

Sergeant Johnson clone?:
If they have his DNA. They can make clones(s) of him. He would have a different personality from the real Jonson. But they could program the clone with his date files.
-Past.
-Family.
-Training.
Stuff like that. Which would make the clone close to the real Johnson’s personalty.

The Covenant, or it’s member races are making a appearance:
-Elites.
-Drones.
-Brutes.
-Grunts.

343 Guilty Spark will definitely be in it. Won’t say more than that as it’ll be spoilerific, but if you’ve read all the books you’ll know.

Different monitor(s) I have a feeling will make it into the campaign. Of course, there will be a new enemy type. The Covenant races will be in in some fashion. UNSC will return. I’m interested to see what they’ll do with the Forerunner story.

I expect to see Lord Hood return, he is a great character if you ask me.

EDIT: Just to add on, I don’t recall him dying in Halo 3, we last see him after the way with the Arbiter on the barren hill.

I think we can expect the following back as main characters:

  • Chief
  • Cortana
    (Big DUH!!! here, but still)

Side characters:

  • Lord Hood (as a side character probably)
  • Dr. Halsey (which would be interesting, as we never saw Chief meet her, nor did we see any real interaction between Cortana and Halsey outside of the books)
  • Arbiter (probably as a side character, leading the Elites)
  • Parangowsky

Also: it would be great if Johnson would be brought back trough a Skull (so that he’s not brought back through canon, logically, but as a joke). Maybe have a Johnson skull which turns a random ally into Johnson, including big mouth, lousy jokes and Flood immunity.

I personally would NOT want to see Jun from halo reach return. (Yes I know he is a Spartan III, but still.) His character bored me. The only two from noble team I remotely cared for was emile and jorge.

Im hoping to see Spartan II’s from johns old team
