So with infinite I really feel like they’ll close out the evil Cortana story arc but they’re not going to do that without knocking off some pivotal players. Plus, let’s face it, the universe is getting a bit cramped with so many people running around. My money is personally on Lasky, Palmer and Dr. Halsey. But what do you all think? Who do think is going to die in Infinite?
I think Halsey will, I think she might end up being Chief’s Cortana figure in this game, despite the fact that the cinematic trailer shows him placing in an AI chip. Lad-sky better not.
I wouldn’t mind if most of the useless characters would fall off a cliff in the first cutscene.

Not really. Kelly is the only original member of Blue Team besides Chief. Fred and Linda were added much later. The original lineup was Chief, Sam, and Kelly. Sam died and for most of the war it was Chief, Kurt, and Kelly. Chief never even served on Blue Team with Fred and Linda until after Halo 4.
Either way, no matter who’s in Blue Team they were poorly written in Halo 5 and served no purpose to the plot. I don’t want characters around just for the sake of having them.

Personally I want the infinity to be turned into a flood hive and have a lot of the crew become infected such as palmer or lasky

while they may have not served on the same team all the time they are still the closest thing to family chief has. I mean hell they grew up together! Not to mention the decades they all spent fighting together.
