This is more directed at Reach and kind of 4 aswell.
So the game starts theres a sniper rifle at each of the teams bases. Who do you think deserves to have it?
The player who selected active camo to use it maneuver around the map without being spotted (like snipers do)
The player who selects sprint just to get it first.
I don’t mind who gets it out of those two options as long as they don’t mistake it for a CQC weapon and keep their distance.
Also, nobody really “deserves” any power weapon. If a player throws a fit and tries to betray me because I reached it first, then I’ll deliberately waste the ammo to rub salt in the wound. The only time someone would deserve it is from Halo 4’s ordnance drops because you actually have to kill opposing Spartan’s to get it.
People who betray you for getting a power weapon or power vehicle are the worst.
I’m weird in the sense that I’ll defer to the rest of the team at the start of the map for a weapon like the Sniper, if everyone passes up on it I’ll go and get it, lol, I just assume the rest of the team is a better shot than me.
Of course, it’s more of a moot point in CE since the power weapons respawn really quickly and you can just sit on them and keep your ammo up the whole game.
Should be the person who is a better skilled player, but it shouldn’t matter in a social game.
totally. happens to me from time to time so then i shoot them back, but not enough to kill them.
