I don’t really feel like armour has any value anymore. People can buy it and wear it. No achievement behind it. no matter how many trinkets they add - they are worthless as long as unlocking them is up to luck rather than achievement.

The Forge is awesome even when the three forge maps sucks in size. About forge itself I just hate that I can use just 1024 objects so I just can build a very small beautiful map

It should be a good balance between grinding with credit system (hell no req-system) and achievements like the Vidmaster Challenge in Halo 3 - but I wouldn’t like to get an armor which is ugly like 95% of Halo 5\4 armors
i hope they add shoulders
and unlockable armours
The forge NEEDS to be easier not more complicated like it is in halo 5
Just Shoulders, Legs, Chest, Helmet, Visor colour is enough.
Also, when you get an armour, you get the whole set including the helmet.
That’s just my idea.
Also there should be different ways to earn different armours, like an achievement can get something or something other than req packs, or even a customisation req pack.
so like in halo 4 when u can get specializations e.g wetwork or pathfinder

No, just no. The system will be the same like in Halo 4 and that wasn’t that good. Just Reach\Halo 3.

Well I just hope that Halo 4 was just an toooo casual alpha, a veryyyyy bad tryjarder beta and Halo 6 might be an good halo like 3 or Reach - bur I will never forgive 343 for doing Halo 4\5 so bad (compared to Halo 3\Reach)
i would say halo reach had the best armor and customization options for the spartans halo 3 for the elites(BRING THEM BACK AS PLAYABLE CHARACTERS)
I honestly feel by now Halo should have complete customization from head to toe, including the undersuits.
Want a black undersuit? Change the undersuit features?
Want a different undersuit design that looks bulkier or more original? Make a design for it or use Osiris’s undersuits.
Wanna change the legs from thighs to forelegs? It could be an option.
Armor skins should be a tertiary feature instead of white, yellow or green as we have for many skins.
Armor effects should also return. They added a unique little bit of fun to players in Reach. Pretty much everyone had one.
This is Halo 5. There shouldn’t be a regression of customization. Players like to personally be alienated by appearance. Yes, that means in Spartan companies too. Maybe a Spartan company wants to completely stand out. Impossible since all you can do is change the helmet and whole body.
The dynamic customization was a feature that made it fun personally for many people. It doesn’t matter if anyone else sees it. But personally to me, it was how you knew who was a hardcore player and who wasn’t.
In Reach and Halo 4, when you saw a person’s armor regardless of their rank, you could tell who played to win or who was really good. Every Interior had a Mark VI helmet, or the pilot. They had a robotic arm or sniper ammo shoulders that Jun had. Ammo pouches and ammo on the forearms. They even wore Jun’s chest woth the cloth. Their colors were always black, dark green, or white with all black visors.
The customization always had a way of making players distinct, which now is nonexistent. Even the emblems are boring now. You can’t change the parts of it.
I’m not saying Halo should be classic again, I’m saying these should be default features the game had because a massive section of the community enjoyed the customization, making their Spartan feel more personal and unique. It was always fun looking at another player’s service record and seeing their image of a perfect Spartan or Sangheili.
I feel like there are a lot more important aspects of Halo to contribute to than who has what armour. I like that it’s only Armour, Helmet, and Visor; it keeps it simple, but they still have a HUGE variety of helmets/armour to choose from. Stop being picky and whiny and just play the damn game lol. Or just go play MCC.
I also feel they should have made legendary sets of armors that used the Mark VI frame with the chest, helmet and shoulders being the only change. Basically a Halo 3 permutation. People could wear armors that had a classic Halo 3 feel to it while they remained a legendary unlock, if utilizing the REQ system. Maybe even add classic true Mark VI from Halo 3 and even a mythic Master chief Armor from Halo 4/5. I think the game could make use of all the old and new designs, given the point of lore that the Helljumper helmet on the Helljumper armor is canon as being an original ODST helmet with very minor tweaks to fit the Spartan platform.
I feel there should be by now endless options of customization. It is the players choice as to how they want to use them.
Why complain about having options?

I disagree. I don’t care about customization at all. I check out my options once in a while when I’m bored, and if that was gone tomorrow, I wouldn’t miss it.
It still pertains to me, though, because of the req system. Right now, when I open a pack and get a customization item instead of a weapon/vehicle/boost/etc. I’m disappointed, but I do still get stuff I want pretty often. If you add all of these customization options now and the odds of me getting one of those certifications that I want drop to 1:10 or so, that has a negative effect on me. Maybe the way the req system works and wanting a certain balance of customization reqs to weapon reqs played into their decision to have less customizable armor pieces.

> Sure it’s nice to look at stuff in the menus, but before you know it, people will be asking for customisable finger armours.
More options the better reach wasn’t over complicated with armor customization it just gave the players more option which need to be brought back.

Agree
