Im confused at the conversation that its perceived that basically because its easier to add a different design or tint to a an armor that its taking away from creation of maps. Have you seen how many variants of blue visors there is, I’m sure that doesn’t take an immense amount of time to add. More over, Id be willing to bet that the artist & engineers that in charge of maps & armor are on 2 completely different teams.

Should I break down the different systems? I’m going to break down the different systems.Halo 3: Helmet, left & right shoulders, chest. emblem (they showed up on the armor so why the hell not)

Ah yes, Halo 5 and Halo 3. Halo 5 lacks the ability to change the shoulders while Halo 3 lacks the ability to change visor colors. With all this knowledge the customization of the armor for future Halo games should be rather simple to identify now.

All we did was add one more option to separate the left and right shoulders!We don’t need to change our forearms or our knees. And we most certainly don’t need a damn bag on our legs or an apple watch on our wrist. We just need the five options listed above to give us more than enough freedom to enjoy the eighty or so armor sets in Halo 5 + the other hundred skins.

A big thing for me, and I am sure for others, was/is looking at other player’s armor in the lobby. We can see each other’s idea of what we like, and what we have accomplished. Yes, I was one of those with the thigh bag and fancy wrist watch. I wore them with pride.

hey, you’re truly right; why do we need much content? Yes it is right, three years between Halo 5 and Halo 4 and so many content. I mean, Halo 3 and Halo Reach three years too but a lot of content for everyone - maybe not so much for Tryharders and wanna be pros (but we had MLG for that with a lot of tournament’s (in my opinion HCS sucks in anyway but that’s only my opinion)).
In Reach I always looked, what my friends kind of armor had, just like I lil to look at my enemys. I was than always like; “Okay guys, u notice that noble tanked with the Commando helmet and sniper bullet arms? I wanna see him dead”. I always know, which high rank player in the enemy team had which armor and I always lil it to face them.
so, why the heck less content like we actually have? It can’t be that hard to make an game for majority casuals and ranked playlist for Professional players. Just look to Halo 3.
I love everything about Halo 5 even if it has it’s defaukts. Seriously, every halo game is not the best nor the worse so we should atleast respect Halo 5 itself.
I mean it would be a cool concept if smaller armour made you faster but weaker or bigger bulky armour slower and stronger and the armours (specifically in reach) when you had satchels allowed you to carry more ammo. Not saying add it but just think of the concept then there would be more reason to customise your character.

I’m sorry but u don’t know much or?
Halo 3;
awesome campaign, multiplayer lists for casuals and ranked, halolution because of the first forge,good costumization.
Halo Reach;
good, military based campaign, great working multiplayer but less content for pros (why does so less people play arena?), greatest customization options and earning system
Halo 4;
power ranger looking suit and a… Not soooooo awesome campaign ( myself wanted to see more) and bad multilayer but a lot of good maps (with bad gameplay)
Halo 5;
req-system on cost of costumization, bad storytelling, less less less… Errr what’s content?, but awesome forge, less lobby\costum options

would be cool system but it wouldn’t fit in Halo - cause you’re an super soldier
I like to customise my Spartan but sometimes it can be too much if there is loads to customise. sometimes it is better not to give someone to much choice

I would still stay with the working system of Reach; awesome armor, not too much and not too less but a lot of different categories.

Same
just add a colour wheel or one of those color choosers where it’s a circle and you can put in co ordinates for specific colours

Also, this would completely brake the game and it would become even more unbalanced than it already is

Hahaha the error what’s content made me chuckle. Also, I liked h4 the most but I will agree the best Halo for customisation was reach
its a bit much i agree. the helmets are just about the only thing i notice in game.
i want the halo 3 rogue helmet back!!
I feel that sometimes less is more. The armor options in Reach were nice, I loved them, but I would like to see some attachments return and looking like they fit on armor and have some functuonality.
Same with armour, looking at Halo 4 & 5’s overly designed Power Ranger style armours…
And yes I’d like some metallic looking Spartan armour instead of glossy plastic and option to customize how damaged your armour is.
So Quality over Quantity. Or if it is impossible to 343i do as good system as Reaches(seems possible since they downgraded armor customization in Halo 5), then for the love of Halo atleast give as same amount of options as Halo 4. I did not ask 343i to bucher the Halo 5, but hey they did it anyway.
What I miss most from Reach was the character voices. Having Stacker say something witty when you grabbed a fuel rod was worth the points (like 50k, if I remember correctly).
having voices for your own benefit would be fun. Like what if it was Donut telling you to hit the enemy core instead of Palmer?

I miss Reach as much as all the other hardcore halo fans, but there were parts that were too excessive with customization, like with the wrists and thighs, but I noticed if someone had specific shoulders, like the -Yoink- robot arm, or the dark ODST ones.
Halo 4 dumbed it down a little bit more and simplified it. The main problem with it was that it also removed the ability to grind up credits to buy it and instead you had to unlock it through means of commendations, which made it hard for your less skilled and working fanbase.
Halo 5 dumbed it down more to create an easier system for newer fans to get accustomed, which really didn’t matter to me. They brought back a currency system too, but now we don’t get to buy specific armor directly, which is a bummer. However, it doesn’t stop me from grinding for reqs.
I just go with the flow, because I know that 343s is going to piss me off or disappoint me in some areas like Bungee did a couple times, and I’m hindsight I’ll look back and remember the good like most people did with Reach and Halo 4.
Halo 3 & Reach had the best armor combos, Halo 4 had the most Ugliest Combos. Halo 5 removed it to prevent ugliness (Sadly Seeker is ugly)
aplause
