Who cares if you can't notice it in game?

I Loved the armor in reach. my most favourite thing in the game. You could save for so long and buy whatever you want!

For me I liked Reach’s customization because I could make my spartan whatever I wanted, and personally I didn’t care what other people saw I cared about what I saw and with Reach’s customization I could make hundreds of my favorite variations of my character, And with Reach I never saw one spartan (unless they where in some kind of group) that looked alike because everyone wants their characters to look different.

Lol

I agree 343 and bungie are trash what with all the detail, love and effort and what not

Should I break down the different systems? I’m going to break down the different systems.Halo 3: Helmet, left & right shoulders, chest. emblem (they showed up on the armor so why the hell not)

Ah yes, Halo 5 and Halo 3. Halo 5 lacks the ability to change the shoulders while Halo 3 lacks the ability to change visor colors. With all this knowledge the customization of the armor for future Halo games should be rather simple to identify now.

All we did was add one more option to separate the left and right shoulders! We don’t need to change our forearms or our knees. And we most certainly don’t need a damn bag on our legs or an apple watch on our wrist. We just need the five options listed above to give us more than enough freedom to enjoy the eighty or so armor sets in Halo 5 + the other hundred skins.

A big thing for me, and I am sure for others, was/is looking at other player’s armor in the lobby. We can see each other’s idea of what we like, and what we have accomplished. Yes, I was one of those with the thigh bag and fancy wrist watch. I wore them with pride.

> Now there really isn’t anything equivalent to that. The lack of variety is just disappointing, and the belief that there is enough variety, or what we have now is better than we’ve ever had is just wrong, in my opinion.

Whooo! Amen to that brother! XD

Well there are 4 different versions of the same daggum helmet and armor. I would like a little more customization. Will make us feel more unique, because hippies need that kind of love.

I agree, To be honest. 343i need to take note of Doom’s new customization features. its mind blowing and brilliant for those who like to spend time on there spartan! And if you don’t care about customization? who said you have to touch it?

Those options AT LEAST, there really is no way of saying “This is MY spartan since i constantly see people with my armor with slightly different colors”

Wow way to over complicate it.

I see them all the time. So you are wrong. -Yoink!-

I think that is a weak argument to say that soon people will be asking for customisable finger armour. That’s not how innovation works, point in example black ops 3 introduced weapon attachment variants and they flopped, no one wanted them or uses them and regularly denounces there uselessness.

Finger armor that’s a great… wait a minute!
Also I wish the newer armor had crotch plate’s

who cares?

That’s a whole other discussion for another day, but yes we need the space diaper to return on a majority of the armor sets.

We got a better color pallet when we pushed for it, I believe more in depth armor customization can someday be implemented. Believe it or not but for myself and I assume many others, the ability to change armor parts is enjoyment.

I care if you can’t notice some useless knee pad in game. they add nothing and take away from resources that would be better used on important things. What those more important things are, I don’t know. But they’re there. I’ll never be able to understand the fascination with useless FPS armor mods that can only be seen in lobby and don’t add to or enhance the game in any way.

The more cosmetic options we have, the better.
Reach had a plethora of armor, and instead of expanding on it, 343 downsized customization options dramatically.

Shut up and take my customization preferences!

I love being able to customize my armor
I liked the system that they had in halo 4, but I think that it wouldn’t be well suited to how you unlock armor pieces in halo 5
Maybe next game if they still have the req system they can have something like when you unlock the body, it comes with all of the shoulders and forearms and legs
instead of having to unlock all of that individually
