Don’t get me wrong or anything I love the update, but I am curious as to just how much impact this update has made to the community. The addition of a social playlist is huge and adds a social factor that has been missing since launch, but did it actually cause the population to increase significantly?
Who returned to Halo 5 due to this update?
I came back because the other big titles of the year were complete duds.

Could not agree more. The new AAA Games left a lot to desire.

According to the Xbox One’s Most Played Chart, Halo 5 has actually jumped up about half a dozen places to 24th. (previously around the thirty mark). It’s the highest Xbox-exclusive FPS, second-highest exclusive shooter (Gears 4 is at 17th place), and third highest-exclusive overall( Forza Horizon 3 is at 10th). It’s even ahead of Titanfall 2 at the moment.
It’s not actually doing bad for a year old exclusive in a ridiculously over-saturated genre.

What? I saw it jumped from 24 to 17. It was never in the 30 mark.
Well, I never really…left. I was on every now and then, poking around Forge for a few minutes at a time. But now I’m Forging fill-time. BF4 is gonna take a break for now, despite how good that game is.

Maybe it differs by region then. I’m in the UK. That, or I just can’t count.

Maybe. I just recounted and it was at 17.
I’ve been having a good time with Titanfall 2 despite its flaws, but the customs in H5 are too good to pass up.
