Playing WZ/WZFF I can’t help but wonder if battling Promethean and Covenant forces will continue in H6 or if combat will involve different combatants. It seems to be that it’ll be the Created vs. Humanity and other races (or at least, those who do not accept that the Created are responsible for the mantle) but what forms would the Created take for Humanity to even fight against? Kind of hard to fight against AIs and Guardians…lol although now that I think about it, fighting a Guardian would make for some pretty awesome gameplay.
Will Cortana direct some Covenant remnants (like the Unggoy) for example? Team up with Promethean forces? Or even leverage the Flood in certain battles? Or perhaps it’ll take on a totally different form.
Despite the Covenant having been defeated (again) in Halo 5, I’m sure some new version of the Covenant will show up in Halo 6. Like Jason Vorhees, they keep coming back no matter how many times you kill them.

Created with there grunt followers and whoever else joined them vs humanity/SoS and hopefully the flood is in the game
I’m pretty sure the created will lead the forerunners with the didact being pretty much dead and all. As far as the covenant, I’m guessing that after Halo 5, the remnant groups aren’t going to be in it because Jul M’dama (is that how you spell it?) is dead. So I think the Banished are going to be a major enemy

The Banished? Have not heard of them yet. When did they enter the Halo universe?

They will enter the universe when Halo Wars 2 releases in February. Search Halo Wars 2 trailer there’s a trailer about them

They split off from the covenant while it was still a thing because their leader Atriox was tired of his forces being sent on suicide missions and he was the only one to come back each time.
I’m hoping that we’ll fight the banished in halo 6, especially Atriox in a legit boss fight that’s actually challenging and not a bullet sponge. If he is a bullet sponge, then I shall proceed to be very disappointed and cry in a corner, regretting my existence.
Since there were multiple different groups that formed from the Covenant Remnants and even before the great schism. But 343i hopefully have noticed the fanbases outcry to have Brutes return. So this may lead to the Banished being the main Covenant group.
